I really liked the location because it was in a quiet town and it was somewhat centered on the D-Day beaches, which was the reason for traveling there. It was quiet and just a minutes' walk to the beach.
The only thing is that there wasn't any air conditioning or a fan in the room. In order to get cool you had to leave the door open and at night the anxiety to leave it open wasn't the greatest.

Phenomenal location, easy to get to all the nearby villages and towns, and historical landmarks. Very relaxed and calm atmosphere. Great spacious duplex rooms. Clean and standard facilities. A few cafes dotted around within vicinity.
Lack of air on inside the room but you can open the window.

The room was comfortable, big bed and good shower
We had expected a kitchen in the room as that was in the hotel last year, we hadn't realised it had changed hands
