The home and property was Beautiful! My grandchildren didn’t want to leave!

Anytime I needed to reach out to Lisa she responded quickly!! She made sure our stay was the best! We have family in Jasper and I ask Lisa before they came, if they could come over for a visit and she said absolutely!! Most places will not allow because it puts you over your capacity but there was plenty of room outside for the kids to fish and play. We grill and enjoy our family time !! The house was absolutely beautiful! Sitting on the porch early in the morning drinking coffee watching the beavers go up and down the river couldn’t get any better than that!! Thank you Lisa for making our stay awesome!! PS:while the kids fished they saw a black bear cross the river….it made their day!!

The host was a great communicator, unfortunately, however, the home is poorly mainly maintained, dirty, and highly uncomfortable. No amenities whatsoever other than the river view. Bring a chair for relaxing because other than 2, old and dirty sofas with zero cushion support, there is NO PLACE inside to get comfortable. The fabric on the sofas is dirty. We used our own sheets to cover them. The refrigerator and freezer were filthy inside. This included plenty of someone's hair. The bathroom was no better. The floors have not been thoroughly cleaned in this home in my guess would be weeks. The king bed downstairs is very comfortable and was our only saving grace. The porch is large with a beautiful view, but cluttered and dirty. The cleaning and maintenance deficiencies are many, and enough to comfortably say NEVER AGAIN.

Lisa’s home was awesome!! A very peaceful, beautiful, serene retreat. The location to the wineries was perfect. Only wish we had more time to stay longer.

We had a great stay. The home was VERY clean- lots of towels, dishes, glasses, etc. location is exactly how listing described. We had a great time.

My family enjoyed the peace and tranquility on the waterfront. Sometimes we’re used to the modern lifestyle of watching television in almost every room of our primary homes that it’s easy to lose focus on the importance of downtime. The stay was very pleasant.

I traveled with my family, 2 adults and 4 kids. We had plenty of room for sleeping! The property is very private and was clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and dishes. Also, loved that we could all sit together to eat at the large dining room table.

Great place for a girls weekend get away! Host was easy to communicate with!

We rented this house for a surprise 50th anniversary for my parents. The owner was very responsive and the location was very close to the wineries. The house was very clean and looks exactly like the photos. We rented a wine van from DSH transportation and they knew exactly where the house was and picked us all up on time. Overall I would highly recommend this house!

Pros: Nice home, good space, comfortable beds, right on the river, lots of seating, laundry access, close to wineries, easy to get to via gps Cons: Horrible issue with hornets on the deck. Kitchen oven needs a good cleaning, it smoked every time we turned it on. A lot of the pots and pans are old and chipping/ too dirty to use. The trundle bed sheets weren’t cleaned before we arrived. Not enough parking, we had 7 people stay with 5 cars. We had the unfortunate run in with the neighbor who is a piece of work, to say it in a nice way. Just beware.

We enjoyed our stay. Location was convenient to Dawsonville, Dahlonega, and Helen. The property was clean and beautiful. The owner was super easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Beautiful chalet on the river with great views. The owners were very hospitable !

We enjoyed the cleanliness, decor and fully stocked dishes/pans etc....AND the BEDS were so comfy, the TOWELS were plush. We caught a few fish in the river, but not a ton of bites. With Dahlonega, Helen and so many waterfalls within a short distance...we never ran out of things to do!

What a wonderful place, very peaceful! The owner of the house is another plus, very sweet, fast response with questions, I would recommend this place to everyone! I can’t wait to come back!!

This property is great. We were all so pleased with the location. Secluded, quiet. So peaceful. The guys loved the fishing. The only recommendation we have is maybe have a charcoal grill on the deck. Currently the only grill is a picnic grill. We grilled steaks and this worked fine but it had been raining. If the rain had not stopped we would not have been able to grill.

We celebrated our best friends 33rd wedding anniversary here. We loved it. Perfect location. We spent time in the hot tub, in the river, using the fire pit. Lisa was able excellency hostess!

Enjoyed our stay. Will be back later this year for a longer visit. we really enjoyed the lake.

Such a beautiful home! It is very well appointed and well stocked. Lots of extras included! Plenty of towels for our party of 7, laundry detergent, trash bags, dish soap, paper towels, kitchen items, even coffee, sugar, and creamer. The beds were quite comfortable and the bathrooms are very nice. It was better than expected. The bunk beds are in the loft which means early risers could wake sleeping kids but it wasn’t a problem at all for us. The house was easy to access - two main floor beds and a large main floor bath. Easy walk from the parking area to haul things into and out of the home. And make sure you visit the shoals at the end of Lewis Grindle! They will take your breath away!

My party was in town for a wedding and the rental was as close as possible to the venue. The cabin was amazing for our needs, it was clean, very nice and a great view of the Chestatee river.
