Classic Ryokan stay, if want to sleep on tatami mats with a futon, this is a great value location at a nice spot in Kyoto. The room included an AC and a few other niceties, interestingly a laptop was one of them. Staff was very friendly and woke us up at our day of checkout.

Bathroom was a little bit small and the lid of the toilet got stuck on the sink when opened and closed. Staff spoke broken english so it was easier to speak in japanese even though my japanese is pretty bad as well.

idk why they offer “free internet” when it’s not working AT ALL

It was close to a public transportation and convenience stores. And around 25 min walk from Gion.

The microwave wasn’t working but the ryokan has everything else I needed.

Ottima posizione, rapporto qualità-prezzo buono
