Nilaveli Beach Hotel

Amazing location on a very clean pristine beach. Lots of trees and nature at the property making it very peaceful. The staff are extremely helpful and made our stay even better (Special mention to Bar manager Raj, hotel staff - Shiva, Sanufer, Seelan, Sidhu and Sasmitha)

It was great to disconnect and go offline but it would be nice to have some basic wifi in the rooms to be able to plan activities.

We had a nice stay at Nilaveli. The staff was helpful and friendly. It’s perfect for relaxing vacation.

The room only had blanket sheet, not a blanket itself. But I guess it’s minor compared to the whole stay :-)

This place is incredibly beautiful. The rooms and premises are desgined around a beautiful patio/garden, with the swimming pool and direct access to a beautiful beach. The hotel is isolated enough to be the only ones on the beach, allowing you to fully rest, disconnect and enjoy nature, but still close enough to take a tuk tuk to the nearest village or city for lunch or to do activities. Its also just in front of Pigeon Island so in 10 mins you can be snorkelling with turtles, etc. The staff as also very kind and attentive.

The facilities are a bit outdated/outfashioned.

We had a wonderful stay at Nilaveli Beach Hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, with a beautiful, clean white sandy beach that feels like a little piece of paradise. The hotel has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the enormous swimming pool was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of the hotel. Our family rooms were also spacious and comfortable. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel in an amazing beachfront location.

The only disappointing part of our stay was the air conditioning in our two family rooms. Unfortunately, it was not working effectively and the rooms remained quite warm, which made it difficult for us to sleep comfortably during the night. Apart from this, everything else about our stay was excellent. Improving the air conditioning would make the experience almost perfect.
