The Enniskillen Hotel and Motel

Not the most appealing building when you arrive but better inside than out! Friendly and accommodating staff as always in this part of the World. Our room upgrade was appreciated - we were in the main building rather than the annex. Everything worked as it should. Linen and towels clean and fresh, as was the room. Short walk into the centre of town. Ample parking but would have been more comfortable with a bit more of a secure area for our motorcycle. Breakfast OK. As an overnight stay and a base for exploring Eniskillen and the surrounding area its OK but I think if we were to return we'd be looking at other options.

No shower gel in the dispenser, which was not great to find out when you were already in there! The shower itself was one of those overhead 'rainfall' (?) type with no alternative so guaranteed to get a hair soaking whether wanted or not. To be fair there were plastic 'shower bonnets' provided but a straightforward shower option would be preferable. Internally the hotel feels a little run down and weary in some areas. Parking does not appear to be used exclusively by the hotel so some concerns over where was the safest spot to park our motorcycle. Pricey - but that seems to be the way of things when it comes to accommodation in Eniskillen anyway.

It was well located

The motel part badly needs a bit of TLC. Our window wouldn’t close, there was no shower curtain so bathroom floor was wet the whole time, one of the mattresses had a spring sticking out of it & the food was terrible
