Stunning Mountain Views on Scenic Golf Course in the Yadkin Valley Wine Region.
Rifugio accogliente e tranquillo che domina la Blue Ridge Parkway. Rilassati accanto al fuoco e guarda il sole tramontare con un bicchiere di vino da una delle tante cantine locali. Ci sono circa 30 entro 30 miglia. Dalla casa sono solo 3 miglia all'ingresso posteriore dello Stone Mountain State Park, dove è possibile percorrere una varietà di sentieri, uno che porta alla cima della cupola di granito, molti portano a bellissime cascate. Goditi una partita di golf in montagna al Stone Mountain Resort Golf Club. La casa si trova appena sopra il nono tee nella Greenstreet Mountain Community.
Abbiamo portato l'esterno con enormi finestre per ammirare la vista sulle Blue Ridge Mountains. Accogliente soggiorno con soffitto a volta, camino in pietra della Carolina del Nord con inserto di gas ventilato. Cucina completamente attrezzata con posti a sedere da 6 a 8. Una camera da letto principale al piano superiore (regina) e due al piano inferiore (una con letto full size e l'altra con due gemelli). Bagno completo su ogni livello. Ampio schermo in camera con luce a ventaglio e ampio ponte fuori dal soggiorno, entrambi hanno vista sulle montagne. Ampia zona pozzo del fuoco con letto di roccia fluviale, rivestimento in pietra e sedie Adirondack. Piccolo patio fuori dalla stanza schermata con posti a sedere e una griglia a gas weber (propano fornito).
Sono stati aggiunti il ripetitore del telefono cellulare e la connessione WI-FI!

We really enjoyed our stay. The views around the location are very lovely and there's TONS of very calm deer and fawns in the area that will hang around long enough for you to snap a picture or two. One thing that's definitely worth mentioning that both my girlfriend and I were surprised by was how nicely stocked the kitchen is (compared to most other rentals we've been to). There's endless cooking spices, plenty of cookware, a nice big pizza pan, etc. And although we didn't do any grilling this trip, it was still nice to see they have a propane grill outside with a dedicated gas line connected to it. Biggest helpful tip I can think of that other reviewers might've already mentioned: Google Maps directions (for whatever reason), will attempt to take you to the backside of the house. Make a little post-it note to remind you: The very *LAST* turn it tells you to make (road to the right)...ignore that and just continue driving straight. You'll slowly go uphill and see a house address off to the right that'll help you know you're almost to your destination address. Continue driving straight and there's a real short gravel path leading to the rental on the right. They've got a roundabout driveway that makes it easier to get in and out and you'll be parked right beside the front door which makes unloading a truck a piece of cake. Enjoy!

If where you stay matters, don't miss an opportunity to stay here, at Dawn and Paul's home. We spent five nights while we attended MerleFest and were so glad we did. It was an easy 35-40 minute drive to and from, and a perfect home base. The photos are accurate, and all of the other reviews, equally accurate. Beautiful home tucked in the mountains in a gated golf community. We're not golfers, but it didn't matter. Peaceful, private, serene, in a lovely wooded setting, with gorgeous views off the back deck. They've thought of everything and we felt truly at home. Wonderful hosts with clear and timely communication. A five star stay!

Dawn, our host, was great! Any questions we had, it would be answered in a timely manner. As far as the property is concerned, everything was provided – from bed sheets, blankets, towels, and other necessities, they had it all. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with common kitchen supplies, such as pots, pans, tongs, knives, spices, etc. The house also included some bathroom needs such as shampoo and body wash, which came in handy since some of us had forgotten to pack some before heading out to the property. Overall, it was an awesome experience and we really do recommend renting here! Thank you so much, Dawn!

Fantastic stay for our weekend getaway. House was extremely clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed the fabulous views from the deck, porch and fire pit areas. Communication with the owner was perfect. I can’t think of a detail that was overlooked.
