Breakfast was provided in a grab bag as I was leaving early.
The bed was comfy and the room was clean.
Staff were friendly and grounds were beautiful. Plenty of parking and generally quiet.
I wasn’t asked about dietary requests and the breakfast grab bag contained a sausage bap- not great for a vegetarian.
The lino in the bathroom was a bit lumpy and there was a strange smell from the shower.

It was easy to find, the views were gorgeous.
Staff helpful the cottage, which I wouldn’t call a cottage was ok.
The tv wasn’t working, the main bathroom wasn’t very clean, there was also dirty corn wool pads in the spare room which I didn’t know of until after we had checked out

Beautiful grounds , reception nice and welcoming . Room basic but ok but hadn’t been sufficiently cleaned.
One member of staff saw us arriving for breakfast - scurried off ! I had to find someone to ask what to do for breakfast - absolutely no one around - run out of croissants but no one to ask . Whole duration of breakfast no member of staff visible till the end to take plates away .
