The view is amazing. Great terrace for breakfast with open view. 15 min with the buss to Amalfi city Center.

Last buss to go up to the property was at 11 pm. We had to rush with the dinner and drinks otherwise there is no other way to reach other then a taxi with is 50 euros.

Amazing view, great room, big and comfortable, and the view is stunning. Great breakfast, full of options. This is definitely a place where I will get back if I went back to Amalfi coast. Congratulations on the good work.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. They are ready to help you whatever you need. The view from the hotel and from the breakfast is super. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would be nice to return.

Wow, all I can really say to sum of this accommodation is wow. It is the most beautiful accommodation I ever stayed with with staff that went above and beyond. As soon as me and my partner arrived, the owner Andrea brought our luggages up the stairs for us and gave us advice on how to travel around Amalfi best. We had a gorgeous and spacious room with a beautiful view overlooking the mountain and sea. The floor was covered in picturesque tiles that made sure that the room stayed a comfortable temperature in the heat. The bathroom was just as spacious with everything you might need and on top of everything, we had our own spacious balcony with table and chairs where we enjoyed a late night glass of wine while we were there. The location was great too as the main amalfi bus stopped right in front of the accommodation and there were plenty of restaurants and a great family run bar there too. More than anything, Andrea and the staff there made our trip. We had breakfast included but we kept leaving really early in the morning so we couldn't avail of the breakfast so without us asking Andrea prepared us a large tray of breakfast foods the night before we left and brought it to our room so we could eat in the morning! He did so much more and his kindness made our trip!

There was nothing that we didn't like about this trip! It was the most amazing accommodation and we can't wait to be back!

Villa Maria is a nice treat. Look out upon arriving and say “Wow”. As it is in Pogerola, a small town above Amalfi, it is free from the crowds of Amalfi, but remains close enough (20-minute bus ride on the hour from Amalfi, or a ½ hour walk down (with 800 steps!). It is peaceful (especially at night), with views to Ravello and over the coast with a wonderful terrace. The room and bed were quite comfortable and most relaxing, especially to wake up to those views! Breakfast is made to order from an extensive menu. Restaurants are limited, though we had nice dinners both nights at the very welcoming Gerry’s Pub (next door). This is a great place for those looking to be near Amalfi but in a quieter setting.

We reserved 1 night only, not sure about this place. We liked it so much so we extended our stay for 2 more nights. Andre, the host, was very nice and helpful. First night we stayed in the larger room with larger bathroom and beautiful view outside. The other nights we spent in a smaller room and bath, view was limited. But both rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is very good, you can order from a rich menu and large varieties of options. On a pretty day, breakfast is served outside on a lovely balcony with mountain and Amalfi view all over. On rainy day, breakfast is indoors. Staff are all wearing masks all the time and sanitizing gel is available at the reception and dining room. This hotel is located outside Amalfi, up on the hill, about 10-15 minutes drive down to town. Making this a great location for traveling to Amalfi, Minori, Maiori, Positano, etc Free public parking is available 50-100 meters from the hotel, based on availability. We found parking spot every evening. For hikers, there is a down hill route from the hotel down to Amalfi, then you can return by walking up or take the bus.

only 1 or 2 restaurants near by (at walking distance), we visited one of them (Aqualina) and were not satisfied.

The room were clean and had nice location.

They need some time to prepare the breakfast. Also our window was next to kitchen and you smell everything from there. They have private parking, but change you 15 euro per night. There is near parking place, but sometime in the night was full this one was free.

The Room was very big, clean and so nice. Also the view was amazing. They had a huge menu for the breakfast which was really really Fleisch :-))

The Bus to Amalfi and back to Pogerola is only once an hour

It was fantastic, The rooms, The view, everything just perfect for us. For sure Will be back!

Upon arrival, staff helped carry my bags up the short flight of stairs (They also carried them out when I left). I had to wait about 20min for my room to be cleaned, but I did not mind and staff offered me hot coffee while I waited. The room was FANTASTIC! I got the upgraded jet tub and loved every second of it! The view and location is great, although a little bit further from Amalfi than I had planned, however, I would recommend this hotel any time for anyone and return myself! Breakfast was simple, but good.

A bit farther from Amalfi than planned, but it was no problem, and the location is still great for views!

Andrea was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was a dream, exceptionally good. The room was also very clean. The bed was comfortably firm.
