We had the best stay at Astley cottage with our little puppy! Ellie and Kevin were the kindest hosts, and the pictures do not do the cottage justice. The king size bed was super comfortable, and they have everything you need in the kitchenette, including an air fryer and a sandwich grill with the basic cooking condiments provided. The deck was fully secured for our puppy to roam around, and there’s enough room in the living area to set up her medium size crate. The small touches made all the difference. A well sized spa bathtub was a welcome respite after a day out. Location was excellent - we’re 5 min drive from Daylesford centre and there you can get everything you need, from delis, supermarkets and a good selection of restaurants and cafes. All in an excellent stay, and we would definitely come back again when we’re in Daylesford.

The place was very cosy and calming set a little down the hill from the road, keeping it nice and quiet. Kevin and Ellie were fabulous and made our stay incredibly enjoyable.

Location excellent. We arrived earlier than expected but the owner was very generous in his understanding. Helped to carry luggage down to accommodation for us. Would stay again but for more than one night that’s how good we felt.

Walking down to accommodation maybe tricky for those with mobility issues.

The property was clean and comfortable

The access to the cottage is terrible, I’m not a mountain goat
