The rooms are interestingly designed and clean. It has a good location. Our view is blocked by the roof in front of our room, but you can still see some beauty of the lake. However, it is an Airbnb-like house rather than a hotel, so you have to manage your expectations. The owner reminds you multiple times that you are staying in an ancient house and that you are bound to protect it.

The room does not offer value according to its extremely high price. We paid for almost €400 a night, breakfast was not included. Sauna was not included (€35 per person). At other hotels, those were normally included. Apart from check-in, you don’t see anyone here to provide any kind of service. So although the room is pricey, you are not offered help or service in the entire duration of your stay. You will receive many emails from the hotel before check-in. Yet, when we actually needed help, no one was there to answer - no reply to our emails. According to the hostel , the shuttle bus to P1 parking lot operated half hourly. But we waited for more than half an hour, no shuttle bus came. In the meanwhile, the Heritage Hotel shuttle bus drove past us twice during that half hour. After we walked all the way to the P1 parking lot, we found the shuttle bus parked at the parking lot empty and dead.

It’s a beautiful historic building that has been tastefully renovated and located in the centre of town. Our room was somewhat spacious and had a pleasant view of the lake. For a small fee the staff were able to get our laundry done also. The room and bathroom we’re also clean.

We had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs from the street. I thought this might be the case from previous destinations similar to Hallstatt and had everything packed into a smaller bag. There was no storage or hanging space and a rod that was approximately 50cm with 6 coat hangers to hang our clothes on, also no drawers. Keep in mind that No breakfast is served here either. Being Winter nothing was open early. We stay in alot of 4 and 5 star accomodation and felt that the price was high for what we received.

beautiful property in an amazing location. the views looking over the lake were incredible. would definitely stay here again of i were to go back to Hallstatt. Service was incredible, was easy to find through conversations about the property. Arrived slightly early before check in, which i knew about anyway, able to leave bag there and was already in my room when going to check in fully

Bed room roof hit my head several times. Kitchen does not make sense as the whole town does not have a grocery store even. The entrance door was locked when we arrived, had to call to find some one open door for us. Jacuzi was not clean, black uncertain stuffs in the water.

The communication with host was non-existent. I got 12 (twelve!) autogenerated mails before the arrival, horrible long ones. When tried to call there was only a answering machine. We arrived late so we had to send our friend that had to talk to someone in the entry phone to get the code to the key box. No reception or staff around at any time. All this frustration could be avoided just by sending a mail with the code to the key deposit safe. And the private sauna/relaxing room? Didn't find it.

Gorgeous room, really spacious and with a beautiful view overlooking the lake. All facilities were super clean and felt luxurious. The location was great, easy to find and the shuttle bus from the P1 parking lot dropped us off a short walk away to the accommodation. Easy communication for our stay and our requests with the sauna. Had a beautiful evening with the sauna and the kitchen was really well equipped so we could easily cook our holiday dinner.

The location could not be better, view is stunning, friendly staff and so helpful, especially Sandra! The jacuzzi is unbelievable, such a special and memorable experience. Sandra, thank you so much for being so helpful and going out of your way to make our experience so unique.
