The service was really nice -- we went during the offseason so they were running a bare-bones crew - but it did not feel like it. Mr Sajith and his team of Manjula and Lalantha went out of their way to make our stay special. From waiting at the gate to make sure it was open when we arrived to make sure that we had enough coffee on hand. The location was fantastic. Ahangama is not known for its beaches compared to its neighbours a few minutes down the road. But we thought the beaches were great. It was a little choppy due to the off-season but the water was pristine and it was really nice. Spent hours just soaking up the waves and the sun.

It's great that Surf Station is situated right on the spot of Sticks a well – known consistent surf break in Ahangama. You can wake up early in the morning, grab your board, and be in the water within minutes. Plus, you can take breaks throughout the day to relax at the hotel, enjoy the pool or have a meal at the restaurant before heading back to the waves. Overall, having Sticks surf break right on your doorstep makes Surf Station an even more appealing destination for surfers looking to catch some great waves and have a memorable surf trip. Sajith, the manager of the hotel, went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best stay. He made recommendations and arrangements for our activities. He was always willing to help and that added a lot to the overall appeal of Surf Station as a top-notch surf hotel in Ahangama.

The staff we so kind and very welcoming, they went above and beyond for us. The room was incredible and premise we super clean. Food was great and the oat pancakes were delicious…… Yummmm. I will 100% be back:-) To top it off the footage of surfing was super cool aswel.

We stayed 2 nights at surf station and had a very good time. You are staying in front of a very good surf spot called "Sticks". We could not just see the spot from the balcony and pool but even while showering ;) Surf station even has a nice roof top where you can do yoga or skating and from here you can also check out the surfspot "the rock/kabbalana". Apart from its amazing location it is a very beautiful and clean place with a clean and refreshing pool, friendly stuff and hosts and good food 😀 Perfect to have a relaxed and chilled time 🙂

Here's what you get when staying at Surf Statioolon: - Avi and his staff are very friendly peocple who are alwjilkays eager to help - They offer great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (you should try the fish burger!) - Various surf spots in walking distance and there's even one right in front of the hotel - Good surf shop (RDS Surf School) in 2 minutes walking distance (board rental fee was Rs. 2,000 per day) - Spacious and quiet rooms (we can only tell for the rooms that are not facing the street) - Great view from the balcony, pretty garden with a beautiful pool - Very good and stable WiFi (probably better than the one I have at home) Even though there are a lot of positives, this place is still quite expensive. Especially, when taking into consideration that you can only access the beautiful Kabalana Beach via the garden door when there's low tide. Otherwise, you need to walk 5 minutes along the street. As I mentioned, the staff is very friendly. However, communication was sometimes a bit difficult and it was hard to find out what they have to offer for breakfast, lunch, etc.

WOW ! Definitely will return to this hotel for several reasons: All the hotel staff are always great and help with everything - from surfing instruction and recommending beaches to resturants and bars to tips on where to travel. In addition, the food is also delicious in the hotel ! the room is super comfortable , pretty big and always clean! And the location is so excellent ! it's on the beach , so you can always go to the sea all day long to surf or just have fun. what i liked the most is the 3rd floor with the best view and yoga in the morning to check the surf and enjoy the view ! thanks a lot for making this trip so great!

that i didnt stay longer ,it was too short for me, next time i will stay for 2 weeks in this hotel with this amazing stuff ! my bad that i didn't book for more days!!

Everything good Super breakfast Place was superb. really nice calm place with nice food, delicious food and nice friendly staff. We really love the environment and the indoor setting. All was positive. We will be back. Wish you all the best.
