Very good price for London. The staff were all super cool and allowed me to stay working from there after checking out.

No kitchen, not the best location (next to tegent park, but far from the centre). Anyway u have a metro station and st pancras station nearby

The relatively low price for my one-night stay was a pleasant surprise, given it was booked at fairly short notice. Staff were pleasant and efficient, checking me in smoothly and chatting amiably (but not intrusively). All-night access to the bar, including free wifi and with no obligation to buy a drink, was a major boon, and the mellow low-lit atmosphere was pleasant. The location is near Euston railway station and hence well connected to public transport (train, bus, Underground), but is also within reasonable walking distance of the West End, Camden, King's Cross, etc.

I may be mistaken, but I believe only one shower room was available, to be shared between all guests. Shower room(s) appeared not to be signposted: again, perhaps I missed the signs, but it seemed to be necessary to find the room unaided. Blinds/curtains in the communal dormitory were opened too early for me (and perhaps also other guests), making it impossible to sleep/relax in the bright daylight - but inconsiderate room-mates (some of whom also let their morning alarms sound prolongedly) may be more to blame than the hostel, and I guess I could have brought an eye mask. A solution could be to instal individual curtains on each bunk bed. A staff member in the bar-room at night was mildly irritating in fussing around while tidying up, seemingly unnecessarily and to alleviate his own boredom, e.g. moving a menu-holder or similar item from a window sill to a table for no apparent reason. This was annoying to persons trying to use their computers in peace.
