The location. 10 minutes from the A-Bomb Dome and the Memorial Museum. Tram 2, which goes to the Miyajima Ferry, is also 5 minutes away.

Wasn't clean. Also, the smell in the room was very bad.

This place is located conveniently close to Hiroshima Peace Park and also very close to a tram stop that connects both to Hiroshima Station and Miyajima. Another tram line to Yokogawa Station is also nearby. It's a small little Hostel with familiar vibes and theoretically everything you could need. The staff was also very nice, helpful and kindly provided recommendations.

Unfortunately, the curtain for my bed was in the wrong format. Not only did the curtain fall to every gust of a person walking by, exposing my sleeping feet (and body) to everyone, but even if it stayed up, there were wide gaps on both sides that everybody could look past into my bed. Hostels generally don't provide much privacy, but at that point I wondered why you would even bother. It was also extremely cramped. The showers were terribly ventilated, all the humidity remained trapped in there and it was simply impossible to dry yourself off. There was also a hole in the toilet's door.
