The location is good, near some restaurants and bars, as well as groceries around.
Around 12 minutes walking to the Main Taipei Station.
I had a private room, it was clean, quiet and the room big enough with a good bathroom.
Common room and laundry too. So far all good experience.
It is not a social hostel.

It was clean. It had a lift. There was a window in my dorm. I slept so well.

The staff were extremely polite and friendly. The common area was large and welcoming. The dorm room was clean and any complaint was looked into quickly. They ensure that there is decent circulation within the room by putting small fans inside.
They have a lift so you don't need to carry your luggage up the stairs.
They are also one of the few places that accept credit card.
It's not very close to any mrt station. The closest would be a 10 minute walk away. Not a big sticking point in my opinion though, the area it is in makes up for it with lively bars and eateries close by.

The staff were nice, the place was clean and there was a decent kitchen you could use
The major problem was that the only bathroom on my floor was for women, so I couldn't use it. This I found incredibly inconvenient, especially as we were not allowed to use the stairs either. So I had to take the lift to the floor above each time I needed to use the bathroom
