We loved the house. Very clean and close to everything that we needed to be close to for our trip. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and hopefully we'll be staying there again in the future.

This house is perfect for family or friends, it has all you need to cook, to rest and to visit the area. The kitchen is fully equipped, the neighborhood is very nice and safe. The yard is huge and perfect for a bbq.

Casa Sol is a cute house that is a short drive to beautiful Playa Carrillo and the awesome town of Samara. Restaurants, shopping and activities nearby. The house has a well-equipped kitchen. The pool is small, but perfect. The owner is wonderful, and allowed us to change our dates with no penalty. And he was super easy to work with via WhatsApp once there. A few things that kept us from giving five stars: the downstairs shower is broken and there’s no hot water. There’s also no mirror, so it’s basically just a powder room. Our whole family shared the upstairs bathroom. The house has a washer but no dryer or clothes line. So we hung our clothes all over the house to dry. There are plenty of bath towels, but no beach towels. The king mattress is awful—squeaks and causes a back ache. But the full beds in the bunks are all great, so we slept in there. Also, you expect bugs in Costa Rica, but the downstairs windows and doors don’t seal, so you get a lot of creepy crawly visitors—like a scorpion in the bathroom. Surprise! With a little attention, the house could be nearly perfect!

Pros: Very roomy. Well furnished. Great kitchen. Lots of outdoor sitting areas. Hosts were awesome and communicated well.
Cons: Very little privacy from neighbors (could see and hear them/kids on both sides). No shade around the pool until about 3pm.

It’s very spacious, fully equipped, wonderful pool and close to beach! Great support from Russel and Vacasa as well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
