Hurawalhi Island Resort

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. We would especially like to thank Anas for his kind attention and excellent service. The sea was absolutely beautiful, and the underwater restaurant was a true gastronomic experience. It was a magicial experience in the underwater restaurant. The water sports were also fantastic — jet skiing is definitely worth trying, while snorkeling and diving are amazing with the chance to see sharks and rays. The resort was peaceful, never felt overcrowded, and everything was very well organized. We stayed in a pool water villa, which was extremely clean, comfortable and perfect for a honeymoon. Worth of every dollar, full satisfaction... Thanks every staff in CANNELI restaurant.. Every food is delicious.. you can easily find anything for your taste. I recoomend Hurawalhi..

Everything was perfect. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent at every venue. The villa was everything we could ever dream of.

The buggies not running past 9pm was a bit inconvenient. Dinner at the main restaurant ends at 9.45pm so we thought they could run them at least until that time. But we made do.

We loved the ability to go snorkeling when ever we wanted because the water was just the right depth. We loved how nice and accommodating the staff were. We also loved how amazing the room was!

The only issue(if any) might just be the food being a bit over cooked(steak was well done instead of medium)and some things were smaller portions for price(it’s a resort so I get it)

The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. Special thanks to Jojo, Ruwindi, Rupa and the entire dive team. The diving, marine life and overall island setting were excellent. The resort was clean and our Sunset Ocean Villa offered beautiful views and privacy.

This was our 7th stay at a Crown & Champa resort and unfortunately Hurawalhi did not meet the standards we experienced at Komandoo, Veligandu and Vilamendhoo. Many facilities feel dated and in need of refurbishment. Several Beach Villas have limited beach access due to concrete erosion protection blocks. Food quality and variety did not justify the premium pricing. The resort shows signs of cost-cutting that affect the overall guest experience. The bathroom floor tiles become extremely slippery when wet and represent a safety risk. Pathways around the resort are also very slippery during rain. For a stay costing over €8,000 for six nights, we expected significantly more.
