Albergue Milladoiro

Liked the attention to keeping the place clean + free of bedbugs (treating shoes + bags with insecticide spray on entry and storing shoes in a separate space). Good location just off the Camino with supermarket nearby. Comfortable beds and quiet dorm.

Nice that they have washer + dryer but, for such a large hostel, they could use a second set of these appliances. The women’s shower room would also benefit from a squeegee or intermittent mopping as the water from the showers spills over. Garbage bin in the kitchen overflowing by the morning even though the hostel was only half full.

Everything. Great location for Camino. Very modern premises. They take cleanliness very seriously. Bar/cafe next door. Supermarket nearby.

Really nice and modern albergue. The bed was comfortable and the privacy curtain was a nice addition Bathroom/shower was nice and soap was provided

The room light comes on quite early, and the bathrooms did not have a good supply of toilet roll in the morning (there were no staff to ask for more)

Communication was exceptionally bad on check in, with one lady just smiling whilst another lady struggled. The hostel itself is great, but being made to wait 50 minutes when you have just walked 17km and no communication as to what is going on is frustrating. At 3 in the morning our dormitory started to flood, someone contacted the emergency number, and to be fair they did arrive to mend the broken connection and mop up very quickly, but it didn’t result in a restful nights sleep
