"La struttura è bellissima e colorata, è anche un cafe e un negozio di vestiti vintage. È in una strada super local dove poter respirare la vera essenza di Osaka a pochi passi dalla colorata e incasina..."

The thing that I like the most about this hostel was actually the bed. I wasn’t expecting for the bed to be as a massive as it was especially. Can you consider the price the location as in like the general neighborhood isn’t the prettiest but when you compare it to price, then you get I think a really good accommodation actually a very excellent accommodation. The staff members are all welcoming and they’re just very sweet. The entire building itself is much bigger than the pictures will suggest. And I stayed in the eight room female dormitory, and I feel completely safe. There are no problems. There are no issues and like despite the fact, I like people had their lights on or some people were awake during the night as an I was also one of them you’re still able to sleep perfectly fine. They have just like a lot of different things that you’re able to do here and you’re able to eat with the staff if you’d like to I didn’t since it was more of a price thing than anything else, but I really adore this place and they just seem to be very proud of the Environment that they have cultivated. I would definitely stay here again if I had the option. This is some quick that I need to stay.
I think the location is less to be desired for but comparatively to the price then there’s nothing necessarily wrong with it. When you speak to the staff as well, they’re all like kind and genuine and I will say like although like the neighborhood isn’t the nicest what I really do appreciate about this location is that you get a very real look at everything in Japan. That you don’t get the pretty aspect or maybe the social media experience about Japan is supposed to look like you get to see real every day people who are struggling and who are making a living the best way that they can. And for that reason, that’s why I also like the location as well, but I think it could be a very humbling experience and I think if more tourist were willing to stay at hostels like this then I think it would help cultivate better understand understanding with the native population and the tourist overall

The location is close to shinsekai, but out of the crowded area, the neighborhood feels much more authentic. The hostel itself is very nice, the staff were very kind and friendly, there was a garden and rooftop and the whole building was decorated warmly and cozy. I would definitely come here again if I ever get the chance

Kamagasaki University of the Arts / Cocoroom was honestly one of the most confusing hostel experiences I’ve had in Japan On one side, super friendly atmosphere,, very open-minded social café for the local neighborhood ,cute little garden in the back where you can actually relax with tea, wifi worked perfectly important when you work online. But then… welcome to karaoke downtown South Osaka chaos! The street outside was LOUD. Like… why is someone singing at 1AM with full emotional damage? The beds were also not exactly giving “deep spiritual sleep....More like “temporary survival mattress.” And the funniest part, the staff were sweet people, but almost nobody spoke English. Which made me wonder.. Why run a guesthouse with international travelers if communication becomes a full Zen puzzle? Still… there was something strangely authentic and human about the place. It didn’t feel commercial. More like stepping into an experimental social art project where nobody fully knows what’s happening including the guests. So my feelings are mixed. Acceptable but definitely memorable!

it's a lovely place with lots of art but unfortunately some of the people working there don't make you feel welcomed.
i was reading in the shared space when someone from the staff just came inside and turned off the lights even though they say me sitting there 😅 that felt strange - i definitely would have turned off the lights when going to bed. this made me feel quite weird ...
