An exceptionally spacious and comfortable apartment in an elegantly converted country house set in beautiful gardens in the Wernigerode suburbs. Everything we needed was there: fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, hairdryer. Very good heating. Loads of space for the family to relax. There is a very good Italian restaurant 2 minutes walk away, at the end of the drive. The historic steam train goes right past the garden, which is great for kids.

The location is a little far from central Wernigerode and the sights, but there is a decent bus service and of course one can drive into town. And it's worth it for the setting.

Very pretty building! Inside sober and practical. Very spacious! Everything you need is there and its clean. Location is very good! Making contact was easy (if you speak German) Some information about the region downstairs.

No cotton sheets, some kind of polyester material. Missing lamp above the table! No small lights to make it a little bit more cosy except for a floor lamp :) In the dark hours no automatic light in the 1st floor hallway so had to walk on the stairs in the dark. So all in all the lighting situation could be better but besides that a nice stay!

Excellent location with a huge amount of garden space to escape from the business of town. The hosts were friendly and happy to help with any questions. The apartment was spacious and well furnished. We had no disturbance from other guests.

The wifi signal was not very strong in the apartment, but was still usable for small tasks. The curtains are thin, so it gets very bright in the morning. No problem for us, but some people might want to take a sleeping mask if you want to sleep in :)
