The room is really confortable! The owner is very nice, we could even stay a few hours more to avoid the rain!

Only the location. Because it was, in the backpackers lane there was silence. Near to some good cafes. All of these properties are iust benefiting from the raw nature of backpackers. As they're so chill, that they don't complaint. That's what these properties benefit from
The whole property. No signboard on the road, not even at the property. The room was just barely there. The blanket had mud stains. The bathroom, stinks because of leakage from the above floor. You just can't sit in this bathroom. Water dripping constantly. It's unimaginable what they've done to Manali. The concept of backpackers was to give an affordable stay to budget travellers who don't have much expectations. But now these "hostels" have taken advantage of this situation, and are taking in loads of money to give off nothing in return. Pathetic state of these properties.
The hosts in Manali think that the guest would just be looking to get "high" so they wouldn't care about the stay they are offered.

The property was surrounded by beautiful trees. View from the room was nice. Prompt service and helpful staff specially chandan. And most of all two lovely dogs - panther and ludo. Had a good time at the property. Wil definitely visit again.
The blankets were not clean enough. No hangers and no soap in the bathroom.

- great location in the centre of old manali
- the owner is very friendly and nice
- rooms could be cleaner & beds more comfortable. also very cold.
- just note that we booked a taxi through the staff for 6:15 am to get a bus, but the taxi did not show up. luckily we asked for the number when we booked it, so had to call repeatedly, walk half the way and almost missed our bus.

This hostel is best to stay if you want to feel peace and serene environment. Staff is very friendly and food is AMAZINGGGGGG. Best rooms at this price.
Our room had geyser problem which wasn't fix. Property should look after these basic amenities.

The location is perfect. Mall road is at walking distance and the area is so peaceful. The hotel is budget friendly and provides best service. Staffs are also excellent.
There should be complimentary heater in the room as it gets too cold in winters.They charge Rs 300 for 1 night for heater.

The hosts were really nice and helpful. Always ready to provide food and information anytime. Geyser was available all the time along with solar connection. Location is very close to old manali main road and Market. Almost all cafes are nearby.
It's not a typical backpacker hostel. It has other rooms available for guests too, so some of the facilities were missing like personal lockers, hot drinking water availability all the time. Rooms were cleaned only when someone checked out or if requested. There was no common room as such (most typical hostels have one situated inside the property where people can chill and talk and play indoor games or just sit and read). The restaurant kinda place was the only sitting area.
