This quiet, lovely place is well cared for and has something for everyone: a large modern kitchen, spacious game room with pool table, tranquil paths to wander through gardens and wooded area. The location provides quick access to lakes and parks for paddlers and hikers. It’s not too far from shopping and I-5 if you’re visiting or sightseeing. Dale is friendly and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our time here and are looking forward to returning!

We visited family in the 7-Lakes area and this rental was perfect, close to everything you need from stores to outdoor activities. We were able to easily get down to Seattle, San Juan’s, and north Cascade trail access (Sauk Mountain, Baker Lake).
Our host was friendly and accommodating, easily our best family vacation. The rental itself is wonderful, plenty of room to spread out, relax and enjoy family time. The only problem was the two weeks went by too fast!

This property is much larger than it might appear from the outside. I was alone this trip, but it reminded me of retreats during college days with lots of friends as it includes a large game room. I hope to return with family. The kitchen is large and supplied with everything one might need.

We came to Washington to visit my daughter, her husband and their brand new baby boy. We needed a place that was dog friendly to hang out because their house is being remodeled. This place was just what we were looking for!
The house is comfortable with lots of places to sit and converse. The kitchen is open to the living room so the cooks never feel isolated. And the kitchen is well appointed. And it was easy to clean.
The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We walked around with their old dog and he loved the new smells!
The main bedroom was very comfy. Finally a bed that wasn’t too hard!
I can foresee staying here again, maybe with my other kids and their families because there was plenty of room!!
Dale is a terrific host. Easy to contact and accommodating.

Very nice property , was just what we were looking for. Dale has put a lot of work into the property and it shows. Nice walking trails that our dog just loved and a very comfortable home.

The pictures don’t do this home justice. Very spacious with awesome layout to accommodate family events and get aways. We can during the winter but really close to Kayak Point park which our dog really enjoyed. We will be back

We stayed at Dale’s property to have our own space during a family reunion near Kayak Point. Dale’s property is beautiful, and we felt welcome to wander the grounds and enjoy it all. We even had fresh tomatoes from his garden—such a treat! The house was incredibly clean with plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 little kids. It’s location up the road from Kayak Point was perfect. I’d definitely recommend this home for anyone staying in the area!

Awesome Place, Hiking Nearby
The property is Huge. There was plenty of room for my family: Dad (me), Wife, Son, his girlfriend, Daughter, her boyfriend. There are games and DirecTV. The stove is Gas (if you haven't used Gas, be sure and look it up), there is a microwave, and the bathrooms have Bidet's. That was new and an interesting experience. The place was clean, inviting, and rules are simple, easy to follow, and rather common sense for the place being in a rural environment. I would recommend 10/10, and we will be back again. Thank you.

Peaceful retreat
We needed a quiet, private getaway for a trip we had to make to the Seattle area. With COVID concerns, we didn't want a hotel, and this beautiful spot among the trees was just what we needed. Convenient to day trip to Anacortes and Whidbey Island, with a lovely county park just down the road.

Weekend getaway
Had a weekend getaway with my husband to meet up with my siblings on Camano Island. I knew the property was bigger than what the two of us needed but the price was right. The grounds and home are beautiful. It’s a very comfortable place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Property offers abundance of different ways to entertain if you desire to stay in the house. On nice days, you can enjoy beautiful beaches, some walking distance from the house. endless trails. Great for families or bigger parties.

Large, quite and private home perfect for family
This home was large and perfect for our small children to run around and burn off some built up energy. Very clean with all necessary amenities. Dale was very nice and made sure we had everything that we needed during our stay. Will definitely look at booking this home again for our next trip to Washington.

Location is perfect! Far away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to town
We rented this house to celebrate a late Christmas with four of our grandkids, it turned out this house was perfect! Dale left the tree up for us, which was very thoughtful, very open layout, plenty of room for all of us, tons of essentials,very clean, plenty of hot water, very comfortable bed, the toilet, or should I say “bidet” which I opted out trying lol. Although it’s January, I can tell the grounds are beautiful and very well kept, we had a great time walking around checking out the property, would love to see it in the summer when everything is in bloom, we will definitely be back if it’s available!!

Beautiful Quiet Location
We enjoyed our stay very much! The home is very clean and modern with a kitchen that has everything you need - just bring your own food.
Super comfortable bed. Very quiet and private. They even had a Christmas Tree to enjoy.
The location is easy access to many activities. Its a perfect place for a family, or just two. Long term or short term.
We highly recommend staying here.

Lovely home in Standwood, WA
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Standwood, WA around Christmas time. The lights of Christmas at Warm Beach was close by, and a joy to experience. The house was both well appointed and very comfortable. The rental price was very reasonable, which made our trip more affordable at Christmas time. The owner/manager was very quick to respond to any questions we had, and to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great experience. We would definitely go rent this house again!

Perfet location and perfect getaway
Stayed in this house while spending the weekend with my parents on Camano Island. The house was absolutely perfect and even better than the pictures. Very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Great House For The Family!
We enjoyed exploring the area. Just be mindful isbis a little bit of a drive to most anything....but little traffic so not bad. Wish we had been able to enjoy the property more....it’s beautiful and well cared for. The home served our needs very well. Thanks Again!

Great place and hosts
This was a great place to stay, very easy to get in touch with Michaela and Dale. A very nice couple! The lot that the house sits on is just beautiful. This place is close to the beach and also sevral lakes. The weather wasn't the greatest when I was there but I got 2 wonderfull days at the beach. The house is very nicely remodeled,clean, well stocked,gorgeuos kitchen and VERY comfortable beds.
Had a great stay, I would highly recommend this place.
