I cannot recommend a stay at Agave di Lerici highly enough. The apartment is immaculately clean, very well equipped and very nicely decorated but what really makes the place so special is the stunning view of Lerici and the Bay of Poets from the terrace. The area surrounding the apartment is peaceful and relaxing so you can just sit back and take it all in. We very much enjoyed sitting on the terrace with our morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. A special thank you to Elisabetta for all her help during our time in Lerici. There is a rather steep, winding road to reach the apartment but Elisabetta very kindly met us at a local restaurant to show us the way. She was also on hand if we needed anything and very helpfully gave us lots of information on the area to help us make the best of our stay. You do need a car for this apartment but, in my opinion, it is better to have a car in this area anyway, so you can fully explore just how beautiful the Bay of Poets is. That said, it is possible to walk down to San Terrenzo in 20-25 minutes – although be mindful that the walk back up is quite steep and not very brightly lit – but not impossible if you want to leave the car behind for a day/evening. When it was time to leave, we really had to drag ourselves away so we do hope to be back again soon!

I cannot fault it. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations.

The view is out of this world. Apartment is perfect for 2 and we loved the seclusion. Hidden gem and great host.
