The entrance is from a bike store and you need to be prepared to deal with more rude staff (when comparing with everyone else I met in hospitality businesses in Taiwan).
Nevertheless the place is very clean, excellent value for money and has all the amenities needed.
We are a family of 4 travelling around Taiwan.
Staff is a bit rude. Also they didn't explain how parking works with discounts - you must ask the hotel staff to give you the code or to pay the park with the discount.

The room itself was spacious, the bathroom was pretty big, there were four water bottles and local tea in the room, and it’s very centrally located on the main street. Very easy to walk anywhere in town. I do appreciate the staff allowing me to pay the full amount in cash upon arrival rather than the 50% direct remittance, which is either difficult or impossible for foreigners.
It is essentially a large concrete room converted into a hotel room. It could be a bit cleaner. The bed was very firm. The large gap under the door allowed a lot of noise into the room, especially next to the elevator. That said, doable for a few nights, especially for the price.

The room itself was spacious and had a view of the lake. Right in the centre for access to everything required. But it is definitely a budget option.
I think describing this place as a hotel is a little ambitious. It’s a series of rooms above a bike shop and only accessible through the bike shop. They only accept cash, huge hole in my towel and what appeared to be squashed insects on wall. No staff around to assist.
