This is an amazing rental. The views are stunning. Really well appointed and very close ( well a lot of steps) to a really nice secluded beach which unlike the main Dubrovnik beach is not crowded. The beach has a really excellent restaurant where you can dine overlooking the sea and listening to the waves. If you want to visit the old town it is a 20 minute walk or a twenty euro cab ride but to be honest you only need a couple of visits to see the place which is very busy.

Jelena was very communicative and helpful. As four Seniors, the 80 steep steps from the road to the terrace carrying luggage tested us. After telling Jelena this, she arranged 2 Porters to carry our suitcases down said steps on day of departure and said had we advised her before our arrival, Porters woukd have been available. Rewarded with stunning views from the terrace, beautiful sunsets. Great to have a washing machine. Able to dry on the clothes airer on the terrace. Mosquitoes were quite bad during our visit (late September 2026) Suggest host could leave some repellent in the apartment or guests be forewarned to bring their own. It is about a 2klm walk to the old city so uber rides became our friend. Gorgeous St Jakov Beach was virtually right below us, some 100 steps down. There is a restaurant on the beach (didn't try it) All that said, we all enjoyed our stay at St Jakov luxury apartment.

In the main, the steep steps up and down.

That view! Sensational property with an even better host. The location, beach access and modern amenities made this stay an amazing one.

Location, location, location. As you can see by the pictures, the views of the sea are beautiful, the beach is right below (fantastic beach, btw, with ability to rent loungers and umbrellas, beautiful water, also a drink and snack shack that is fab). About 16-20 min walk to the nearest market for basics, about 30 min walk to Old Town

It’s not a criticism - just fyi. We stayed during very hot week and the two AC units were overall very good. The AC on the top floor was located over the stairs, so we had to leave our bedroom doors open to get the cooler air circulating. One of bedrooms had a fan, so my son was happy to use that.
