Fisherman's Hut was a great find for us. Stunning location, ideal base for exploring Harris and great walks starting from front door (can thoroughly recommend The Postman's Path for anyone who enjoys a challenging hike with spectacular views). Brilliantly equipped and organised, it's an excellent example of how functional and comfortable a relatively small space can be.

Absolutely exceeded our expectation, could not have expected more.

We had such a lovely stay at the Fisherman’s Hut in Tarbet in August. The hut is small, but it was spotlessly clean, cosy, and so well organised that we had everything we needed. It felt like a little home away from home and was the perfect place to relax after exploring the island. And what a beautiful island it is! The scenery is simply breathtaking, and in some places the landscape looks almost like something from the moon — wild, peaceful, and completely otherworldly. We loved taking in the views and exploring the surroundings. We’ll have some really lovely memories of our time here. Thank you for such a wonderful stay — we would love to come back one day! ❤️

Our only very small issue was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working during our stay, but honestly, it didn’t spoil our experience at all — there was so much natural beauty to enjoy and plenty of reasons to switch off and simply take it all in.
