Libelula Tulum Beachfront Hotel

The team at Libélula was very supportive, helpful, and friendly. They felt more like hosts than hotel staff. The hotel property was incredible, with great design, craftsmanship, and amazing views of the sea.

Great little beach front hotel within the bioreserve! The room was spacious and very nice with a view of the ocean and a private deck. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, and all the staff was super nice and always helpful. The place is very laid back and away from the nightlife in Tulum, which we really enjoyed. That said, there is a small bar at the beach (open during the day) and one in the courtyard (open in the evening) as well as and a friendly mix of guests and some local folks during the days and evenings, with everything closing down by 10 pm. The restaurant was very good and they were able to accomodate vegetarians (and vegans) without a problem.

No complaints, but worth noting that like many small hotels away from the main tourist area, the electricity and water pump run on a generator, so on a couple of occassions there were glitches without water, but these were quickly resolved.

Beautiful location very friendly staff.

Would have been great to make a tea or coffee before breakfast started.
