The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam

They checked me in a few hours earlier than the listed time, since my flight landed at an early hour. Things like this really score well in my book. I didnt do anything other than sleep the entire day since I was jet lagged and because I had an early connecting flight the next day I had to check out in the morning, that's why I won't be able to give a proper review about the other details. The location is also great. But it can get busy, some families had very unruly kids creating a public ruckus and the staff were swamped with queues of visitors more than once. I stayed in the north tower, everything was okay.

GOOD CHOICE OF BREAKFAST AND GOOD RANGE OF HALAL FOOD

NONE

The room is big and comfortable

The hotel is a little old

The location is amazing, platinum mall is just across the road, central world 7 mins walk. the size of the room is good for the value for money.

1st -Was targeted my a scammer at the lift area on my 1st night, trying to steal my money. Didn’t except that at my hotel stay, i questioned my safety. Didn’t loose any money.Took it up with the reception, who said they would check the cc tv and call the cops. 2nd the room service to clean the room does not wait for you to leave the room to come and make up the room. Once i was in the wash room they kept ringing the doorbell i had to run out to check what it was only for them to tell me they wanted to clean my room. As a tourist i hardly spend time in my room, this is a basic expectation in hotel, to wait for us yo leave before cleaning. 3rd - i have stayed here before, the standard of the breakfast has gone down from my last stay.
