pleasant staff. accessible even though a bit off the main strip
didn’t really want to take a shower tbh. Just seemed like an old locker room musty vibe. but in all fairness, it didn’t have a musty scent and I didn’t use the shower so it was purely the look I went off of.

The location was great. 2 minute walk to the beach and the street with all the restaurants. But still quiet during evening and night. Nice, clean and comfortable room and bed.
For the price is was quiet small and shared bathroom. Expensive compared to many other places I stayed, but Cocos is pricey I guess. For being low season (rainy season) I was surprised about the price.

The host is friendly and it works well if you are traveling on a budget.
Honestly I didn't enjoy to stay in this place, the beds weren't confortable at all and I couldn't sleep well because of the noise outside.
It's a cheap price on Cocos beach area and close to the beach but this was also the worst beach I've been in Costa Rica and doesn't represent the beauty of this country.

Very lovely owner, kind enough to upgrade us to a private bathroom as we are staying for 5 days. Great sized rooms, private kitchen was a huge perk. Great location. Perfect stay!

Staff are very accommodating. About a 5 minute walk to the beach or main road. Kitchen is fairly well equipped.

The place was very cute. The owners are so super nice, responding quickly, helping with everything. It is very close to the beach, feels safe and the wifi is really great. I strongly recommend it!:)

Location is great, parking available, large rooms
The bed was so worn out, I woke up a few times because of the pain in my back due to the bed. Cold shower but that’s Costa Rica. Due to the horrible bed, expensive for what you get (sleepless night)

Free coffee, nice and clean kitchen. The area to sit outside is very nice! The rooms are nice and clean with perfect AC.

- spacious community area. We booked purposely with a kitchenette in the room and made use of it daily (big fridge, some pans, gas stove)
- helpful stuff that taught us how to use a rice cooker
- A/C
- Stable Wi-Fi connection, good for video calls (we worked remotely from there)
- Kitchenette comes without basics like oil, salt/pepper and the knives need an upgrade
- the window doesn’t allow to look outside but at the wall of the next building

good value for money.
There are three small hotels in this compound, and only one path leads to the compound. There is a very dirty little ditch on the trail, and everyone who walks in and out has to jump over the ditch, even with luggage.

This place was perfect , close to the beach, market, restaurant. The host was very nice . The bed was comfortable I would recommend this place for sure

Very nice family-run Cabinas that are well set up. I had Cabina 6 which is a separate from the others and has a small kitchen. The Cabinas are in a back alley and away from the hubbub of the main drag yet very close to it.

Nice host. Quiet location. Pretty easy to walk to the center as well as to the beach. Host easily helped us with our different requests. The room and the bathrooms was basic but nice. There was a small refrigerator in the room. The common seating area was cosy.
Sadly my wife didn’t slept well in the bed, maybe something about the mattress. Only cold water in the bathroom (which we knew), but it was okey since it didn’t feel to cold.
