Noisy flat! We were staying in this flat during our holiday. We are very disappointed because of he following points: Although the flat is big and spacy and has a fast internet access, but it was noisy both from inside and outside of the flat. Before booking the flat we asked the appartment owner if the flat is calm and there is no construction in the area. The respond from her side was: no construction! Unfortunately there were construtions in the area! If you are looking for a quiet flat, this flat is the bad choice. The whole watering system (wastewater) is in the building. There was a shaft among the neighbours apartments.The big bedroom is next to the shaft. You hear the neighbors, when they are taking a shower or going to the bathroom, toilet-flushing. Including the noise of some air conditioning boxes. Moreover, the noise of the entrance door is very disturbing (especially between 2 a.m. and 5 .a.m.), when the people coming or leaving the flat. Although it was written „Don’t Slam the Door“. Unfortunately, the flat owner was unwilling to any compromises. And all the time denied the problem and claimed this kind of noise is a normal thing in Malta! We admitted that she didn’t have any control on any construction noise in the neighborhood, but she could be honest and tell us the truth and finally there is no excuse for her for the noise from the inside of her flat.

The buses were slow to Valletta - lots of traffic!
