I stayed with my fiancé and two friends from Toronto and we had a really good time in this apartment. It is exactly as it is listed, the location could not be more central on the Plateau which is perfect to go to the city by metro. Walking distance to everything. The comments are true, there are a lot of stairs but I was fine with it, just careful if you have heavy bags. The King size beds were very comfortable, pillows very comfortable too. The two bathrooms made it very convenient for us being two couples, and the two rooms being on different levels made it more private as well.
Cleanliness was quite disappointing however. It was incredibly dusty, the word "Dirty" was written in french in the thick layer of dust on the 3 lampshades over the counter from the previous tenants. Hard to not notice but seems like the cleaners missed that. I wish we also had detergent to do some laundry but not the end of the world. The ad also stated there was an iron available but we only had an ironing board so we weren't able to iron our shirts before going out. We didn't raise this issue though as we were towards the end so we didn't see the point at that stage but I'm sure that would have been rectified. Bakan was quick in resolving issues, we had no toilet paper at the beginning of our stay so I gave them a call and we had toilet paper sent straight away.
Overall I definitely recommend staying there I would stay again, but cleaniness needs to be addressed.

Two mums + our teenage daughters stayed at this location over the weekend to visit McGill's campus. We were very happy with this apartment. Two full floors, very spacious, extraordinarily comfortable king beds, huge windows looking onto Mont Royal .. we were very happy here and the location truly can't be beat. Restaurants and lovely shops are right at the doorstep and it's a 2 minute walk to the metro. Definitely recommend!

A great apartment for two couples, with a king bedroom and full bathroom on each floor. The kitchen, upstairs, is large and well appointed, and the balcony off the kitchen is a nice option for outdoor dining with great views of the city. Walking distance to the Metro and many restaurants and shops.

This apartment was the perfect size for four adults. The location was ideal for exploring Montréal by foot or public transportation! Would highly recommend this place!

This apartment was on the third floor with no elevator. There also is a spiral staircase to the kitchen and second bedroom and bathroom. Despite that, it's in a great location. There is a Starbucks almost attached and a great breakfast place L'Avenue within two blocks. There is a Metro stop two blocks away.
The deck has a great view and is a nice place to have a drink or eat a meal. The street in front of the apartment is blocked off so it's an easy walking area.
Overall if you can handle the stairs this is a great place. My friends and I would love to go back.

Excellent for 2 couples! We had no problem checking in to the beautiful apartment, the host allowing us to drop off our bags before check in time!
The outdoor patio was perfect for early morning coffee and late night wine!
Mont Royal Metro was steps away.. many places to eat, drink & be Merry!
Lots of steps to the apartment, but worth it .. what a view!
We all agreed this property made our trip one to remember!!!

Good location. Great neighbourhood (loved the vibe) with easy access to shops, restaurants, Mont Royale and metro. Easy check in process. Apartment was mostly same as shown on listing. Really enjoyed having the balcony and plenty of room for the 6 of us. Balcony could use some repair and windows cleaned. Large kitchen and eating area. A few minor inconveniences with only 4 mugs for the 6 of us, no dish drying towel, no dishwasher cubes, short on cutlery ie. spoons, frying pan has seen better days and wasn't flat, and we had to wash many things before use. Comfortable and spacious beds. Not provided enough bath towels for the 6 of us....only for 4 people. Booking was made for 6 and when I reached out a few days prior to check in, I reminded owner that we were 6 to ensure bedding for sofa bed and anything else would be there. Once we arrived we noted the lack of towels and addressed with owner and he advised he would review with cleaning team. But no towels were ever provided for our 4 day stay. There was supposed to be a hair dryer in the apartment. We searched everywhere but to no avail. The owner was informed and his response was that it should be in the cupboard in the bathroom which it obviously wasn't. Situation was never rectified.

Steps to the apartment can be a challenge for some people with mobility issues. Otherwise it is a beautiful space in a great location. The Metro station is across the street, and there are lots of great restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Central Mount Royal location with amazing views from top floor terrace. Comfortable king size beds but beware of the steps! This is a third floor walk up with steps steps and a spiral staircase in the unit that leads up to kitchen and second bedroom. Great way to work off all that poutine ;)

Such a beautiful space and the rooftop deck tops it off. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance. My only complaint is that we wish the host had offer some of their own list of recommendations near by. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This apartment could not be better located, in the heart of the plateau, on a pedestrian street, steps from the metro, multiple restaurants and grocery stores.
A good size unit for our family of 5. Reasonably clean, however could use some detailing.

After several emails/messages prior to our arrival to confirm that there would be additional bedding for the 5th person (the unit is listed to sleep 6), we arrived to not only find no clean bedding but also found dirty bedding on the pull-out sofa. With multiple calls and emails and no response until much later the next day we were left extremely disappointed. When a response came, it was in the form of a short text, to indicate that new bedding would be delivered that day - IT NEVER ARRIVED!!
We travel and book via VRBO and Other home stay sites often. We are lenient and give grace and understanding to timing delays and hiccups. We’ve encountered situations before and have always come out with a positive outlook and much forgiveness. However, this situation was sadly different. For the bedding to never show up is completely unacceptable! After multiple phone calls, emails, and texts we were essentially ghosted without any further communication. This is a company that manages several rentals and should easily have help in place to rectify minor concerns… they obviously do not.
