Hara's houses

Évidemment la vue depuis notre terrasse ! C’est vertigineux et on ne s’en lasse pas, le matin, la fin d’après-midi, au coucher du soleil… L’architecture typique grecque du lieu est très agréable. Nous avons pu cuisiner, les condiments de base et café sont les bienvenus (seule poêle en 15 jours). Nous avons beaucoup aimé partir à pied et rejoindre Oia en longeant les falaises, puis rentrer en bus. Explorer l’île avec un scooter en partant du village. L’accueil d’Anna et l’aide du porteur pour descendre et remonter les bagages 💪🏻

We loved our 4 night stay in number 5, Hara’s Houses. It is the lowest of the 5 & the views of the caldera and white buildings built down the cliff face are amazing & very special. We saw fabulous sunsets from our balcony. The balcony had table, chairs & two sun loungers & was next to the shared pool. Many apartments are overlooked by people walking by in Santorini but ours wasn’t. The accommodation was as shown in the photos. Anna, the host, was very helpful in arranging taxis from & to the airport & advising on restaurants. The public buses in Santorini were very good & efficient. Imergovili is a great place to be based on the island.

If you want an apartment with a good caldera view, and to explore the lovely towns, you have to go up & down lots of steep steps - some without handrails in Santorini. Hara’s Houses are no exception but a porter carries your luggage. Elderly people with bad knees would find it very difficult.

La struttura è posizionata sul bordo della caldera, sotto non c’è nessuno il che garantisce una vista pazzesca. La posizione è strategica, a due passi da Galin Square che è facilmente raggiungibile in macchina, ci sono ristoranti, take away e anche un supermercato qualche minuto più in là. In 10 min a piedi si scende in cento a Fira.

Ci sono tante scale per raggiungerla, forse ad una persona più anziana potrebbero dare fastidio o risultare pericolose.
