Pool, stunning ocean view, quiet, stairway to beach, ECO house
Da dicembre 2014 lavoriamo con un sistema a griglia solare per l'elettricità. L'acqua calda proviene da un riscaldatore solare. Vieni e divertiti!
Questa deliziosa proprietà si trova sulle scogliere sopra Playa Cedros. L'ampio lotto di 22000 m2 garantisce ai nostri ospiti la massima privacy senza essere isolati dalle altre case della zona. Ci sono due case sulla proprietà, ideali per amici e famiglie con bambini più grandi. La casa principale è un grande monolocale con 1 letto matrimoniale, bagno e cucina. Le zone soggiorno e pranzo sono all'esterno. Offre una cucina completamente attrezzata e una griglia all'aperto.
La seconda casa si trova a circa 30 piedi dalla casa principale. Ha una camera da letto al piano superiore con un letto matrimoniale. Il lavandino, il bagno e la doccia esterna rustica si trovano al primo piano. Entrambe le case ospitano un corridoio della fauna selvatica. Scimmie, iguane e agouti abbondano ... Ci sono molti alberi da frutto nativi per i nostri ospiti. Le brezze oceaniche mantengono le case confortevoli. 4X4 raccomandato.
Il Parco Nazionale Cabo Blanco e la cittadina di Cabuya sono a soli 4 km a sud: Cabuya è un'ottima base per escursioni, nuoto, snorkeling, kayak, spiaggia, osservazione della fauna selvatica e tutto ciò che gli amanti della natura stanno cercando. Montezuma si trova 3 km a nord e offre numerosi ristoranti e negozi. Sei minuti da una delle migliori spiagge della nostra zona. Playa Cedros è nota per la sua 'lunga pausa surf. Rio Cedros è a breve distanza con una laguna di acqua dolce e cascate sul fiume.

Joachim is a great host. Very organized and attentive. The view is stunning, and the wildlife is off the charts! We saw howler monkeys and white faced monkeys right next to the house. We also saw some critters on the ground next to the porch, and agouti, and one I can't remember the name of. All manner of birds, probably 30 different species.

Joaquim was a great host…very quick responses and provided excellent advice. The highlight was the privacy and immense beauty of the property. Wilderness abounds and comforts of the home and patio were ideal.Coast Rican wildlife had their home in the surrounding trees and ravines. Howler and white faced monkeys, birds of all types, coati, agouti, raccoons and other friends could be seen each day. The ocean and jungle views from the patio and pool area were magical. I got up at 5:30am everyday and watched sunrise while soaking in the pool and drinking coffee…it was heavenly.For timid drivers the road in is small and the driveway is quite steep; but each are easy to navigate. Natural breezes cools the home in the evenings and it can be quite hot over night. Take this as a positive in terms of enjoying the natural setting or a negative if air conditioning is your thing!The staircase to the beach is a great walk; and coming back up you are greeted by the refreshing pool at the top of the stairs. Montezuma is cute town with all the services you need and is a short 4 km drive. Cabuya is smaller but equal distance to the west. Near Montezuma try Soda Tipeca Las Palermas…great food and good prices!We truly loved our stay and have memories for life emerging from this portion of our Cosat Rica adventure.

This is our 3rd trip to Costa Rica and our first time in Montezuma. This has been our favorite location and favorite place to stay. The setting is incredible! The pool was perfect for quick dips whenever we felt hot and offered amazing star gazing while floating on our backs. We woke up to the howlers then watched them in the trees off the deck while we had our coffee, and again in the evening as they came home. Lots of other birds, butterflies, and wildlife to see. Very much appreciated the binoculars because we forgot ours at home. Joachim is very responsive and allows for privacy. We hope to be back next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It's beautiful, quiet and very natural. The house had a nice layout that worked well for us - lots of outside time and space. We loved the pool overlooking the ocean. And, we had lots of animal neighbors stopping by - iguanas, monkeys, agoutis and the occasional coatimundi! We loved it.
