The property was well maintained and the view was great.

Clean accommodations, nice coffee bar and bottle of wine to share. Watching the freighters is a nice touch.

Perfect location for our golf outing. The Unit was clean and just as advertised. There were six adult males and Marc brought us cots to use.

We had a lovely time. The property was so well thought out and exceptionally clean. The stay was very quiet and the location was amazing. We were able to watch several lakers on the St Marys River. Would highly recommend and stay again. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

The unit was exactly as advertised and extremely clean. We stayed with our two adult children and enjoyed the freighter traffic on the river. The unit was a perfect home base for touring the sights and sounds of the UP as it was only (1hr) from Mackinac Island (1.5hr) from Whitefish Point and (2hrs) from Pictured Rocks. Marc was a great host readily available for any questions or help. We will definitely stay here again.

Had a great time at this property. Very quiet and relaxing area. The view onto the river is great. Marc was very responsive with a couple of questions we had during our stay.

This was the best place we have ever stayed at!! The place was spotless and was right on the river. You could spend all day just watching the large ships going by. Kitchen had everything you needed and was great as well. Outside had a dock, fishing poles, kayaks, comfortable seating, and a gas firepit. Very close to all attractions and restaurants. The welcome guide provided was amazing so well thought out and easy to understand. Communication was outstanding and he was available if we had questions. my problem now is that Marc set the bar so high for rentals, I am not sure if I will ever be satisfied again. Hope to use the property again!!!

Saw some freighters go by on the river. Two bald eagles hanging out in the tree you can see from the front living room. Looking up you keep telling yourself, "Oh, that's Canada right there!" Would recommend this property to anyone and would stay again. Listing says it sleeps 6 and has two bedrooms. It does sleep six, but it only has one bedroom. That is why only 4 stars for accuracy of online listing.

My son and his friends enjoyed their stay. They were only here for a few days but it was great to have them close by and yet have our own space . They enjoyed their privacy.

We traveled from NH to the UP for a Sprint Cars On Ice event at the Cozy in Barbeau MI. The Cozy is a great place and the Sprint Cars on Ice event was fantastic.

We were in town to visit family and wanted to stay nearby. This place was clean and very comfortable, well stocked and nicely decorated. We loved the view of the river. I appreciated all the extras provided and wish we could have stayed longer.

This home was perfect for our stay. The property manager was very good at staying in touch and even messaged to let us know the property was ready early. The house had everything you could need and more. We would love to stay again!

Second time staying here. Beds are comfortable. We feel right at home. Kitchen has everything you need. The river was pretty active with freighters.

Marc’s property was warm and inviting. Everything we needed was available. The entire home was very clean and very well kept. We made some light meals and found all the supplies we needed! We looked around at other rentals when we were traveling around the U. P. and found nothing that compared. As it was right on the water, the views out the back were amazing. Loved the freighters! It was the perfect “base camp” for exploring northern Michigan!

Oh, geez Louise! From the minute we walked in we were stunned and amazed. Spotlessly clean. Views that can't be matched. And WELL EQUIPPED beyond ANY place we have EVER stayed. The quality of the furnishings (highest quality bed linens, pillows) and the kitchen (pans, knives, dishes beyond anything we have ever encountered.) Sometimes, you aren't crazy about using some of these things in a property. These were obviously new and in excellent condition. Immediately, we knew we'd be back next year. Did I mention the sauna??? The quiet??? The freighters passing by on the river--especially impressive at night??? AND, Marc is the perfect host. Any time I made contact, he responded in a VERY timely manner. He greeted us soon after our arrival and said to just let him now if we needed anything. Hands down the BEST place I have ever rented through VRBO.

Great rental, so clean (even the cupboards, refrigerator and closets are clean and organized). The setting on the river and the photos are accurate. My husband and I wanted a quiet fall getaway and this was so nice. Marc is attentive and helpful, answering every question immediately by text throughout our stay. We want to return in summer months. We rent Vrbo four or five times a year and this is definitely one of the best.

Wonderful place. Very clean, and decorated nicely. The view is so much better in person than the pictures posted.(if that is even possible). From living room and 2 floor bedroom the windows the view is just mesmerizing. From the minute we arrived we had a sense of calmness. The ships are fun to watch. Fishing off dock, kayak’s etc. Marc’s a great host. Helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again if in area.

The property was clean, welcoming and had everything we could possibly need. The view was absolutely amazing. It was awesome to be able to take kayaks (included in the rental) out on the St. Mary's. I definitely plan to stay here again.
