Ani Grand Hotel Yerevan

It was my mum’s birthday and the hotel upgraded our room. What a surprise! Thanks. Spacious room and comfy beds. There is everything you need in the room.

The location is really central and around the corner to some nice parts like Vernissage market and old town. The room was really comfortable (I had a suite) and with all the toiletries one may need, and free water and coffee bags replenished every day. So all good on that.

When I arrived, it was 7 degrees outside, but they haven't yet turned on the heating system. Only the next day they supplied me with a small electric heater. Not the only hotel where this happens, but this one claims to be five stars, so it shouldn't. The breakfast was quite basic and not really tasty. More importantly, very crowded - the hotel caters to groups, and when one or two buses of people try to have breakfast at the same time, the breakfast room gets overcrowded, and it's even difficult to catch an elevator. In short, the capacity of common utilities does not match the number of rooms and guests.

The staff were helpful and polite; the location is near to the downtown also the room was clean.

Honest staff. We left a wallet on a table in the hotel and it was brought untouched back to the reception. A huge thank you! Amazing breakfast - one of the biggest I have experienced. Good location a bit off the center. Pool and sauna worked however very sterile ambiance.

Very old, needs an update. Gym machines did not work, old soviet era carpets, furniture and facilities. Long queue at coffee machine at breakfast. Probably 3.5 stars.
