Questa splendida cabina indipendente per barche a motore si trova nella nostra proprietà lifestyle che si affaccia sul porto di Aotea, sul mare di Tasman e sul Monte Karioi. Goditi i tramonti più belli e le notti illuminate da stelle in un ambiente tranquillo e rilassante. Ascolta l'abbondanza di avifauna mentre sei seduto sul tuo ponte o fai una breve passeggiata attraverso il nostro piccolo stand di Native bush. Completamente gestito da energia eolica e solare. Siamo situati a 15 minuti di auto dalle spiagge Raglan e Ruapuke con Bridal Veil Falls e il parco eolico Te Uku ancora più vicino.
Se vi aspettate un alloggio di lusso a 5 stelle, allora il nostro posto non fa per voi .... La nostra attenzione è rivolta alle persone genuine che desiderano qualcosa di un po 'diverso per un prezzo completamente conveniente.

A rustic place to stay close to nature. Almost like camping but with solid walls. Awesome hot shower with good pressure. Really nice hosts.

Quite unusual but had all the mod cons except Wi-Fi and Tv as they are off the grid. Gas oven, 230v outlets, water heater etc. could do with a few improvements like a better floor in the mid section. The WC cubicle is way too small and must be hell for a large person. It could do with a sun deck or access to the west side outdoor to enjoy the evening sun. Views from the boat disappointing, just a peep of the sea as the hill blocks the view.

Quaint and unique accommodation. Just what we wanted. Could do with a little screen to be built to separate the boat from the view of the shed....will help with aethestics and guest privacy.
Loved the local ducks, peacock, wee dog and roosters. The family home is also quite close to the boathouse. Hosts were very helpful, kind and friendly from the moment we booked.

This little Gem is exactly as it’s listed …far enough away from everything but close enough to Raglan if you choose to go…… it’s got plenty of personality and the essentials you need for an escape from reality…. Plenty of exploring in Nature close by… was pretty stormy one night but we were warm and toasty inside ….would definitely come back for a summer experience! Thank you

This was a unique experience, waking up with the daylight and horse's just outside (fenced off). We were able to use the gas cook top with provided cookware and mini oven with ease. Helen our host, was very helpful and provided some additional local hidden spots to try out.

There in mid winter and had a lovely time, able to sit out under the eves and watch the birds in the bush in the rain.

Breathtaking and perfect in every way
You won't find better hosts or accommodation and the quiet of the country mixed with the rain was just what we needed.
Fell in love with the boat and even though it was winter and stormy we were warm and cozy. Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is and it is something you need to see in person and experience, it will not disappoint and you will leave feeling so much better than when you arrived

A cosy retreat with gorgeous hosts!
This place is hella special. So much creativity and love went into the building of this little Bach. It shows. It’s nothing like a Sofitel but it doesn’t need to be. Being here made us feel like we we were on a little adventure. Spotlessly clean, we cooked every night and made use of the really excellent little stove/oven. Hosts were super chill and super helpful and even helped out giving us spades and fresh water to hose ourselves off with after going to the nearby hot sands beach. Oh and the ponies need a mention too. Really friendly and loved them.

Peaceful and relaxing
We had a weekend of total relaxation. Hubby usually chooses were we escape to because he likes all the creature comforts of 5 star hotels. I chose the boat because I love peace & quiet and something a bit different. I knew I would love it but unsure that hubby would. Turns out he loved it as much as I did. Although it’s an old converted boat it had everything we needed for our stay. It’s been refurbished beautifully. I found it cleaner than most 5 star hotels. If you want somewhere to escape to and just relax this place won’t disappoint you. I just wish I’d had more time off work to stay another night ....or 2. Brendon & Helen were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions on where to go and what do in the area. All in all it was an awesome weekend.

Rustic and Peaceful
If you are looking for rustic, peaceful and not your normal hotel room then this is the place for you and also close to Raglan.

Unique accomodation in great location.
We really enjoyed getting away for the weekend in this unique little spot. Incredibly quiet and so dark (the stars were amazing), so an ideal spot to catch up on rest. The bed is good and the room cosy. Close enough to Raglan to enjoy the eateries and shopping, but still very secluded. The only things we missed were wine glasses (which were promptly supplied by the owner), and a place to picnic, as there is no outside spot to enjoy the view and sunset unless you sit in the paddock with the horses (which we did). Friendly and relaxed hosts.
