This place was exactly to the listing and pictures. Also, some past visitors left a message on the wifi; which was correct. It's not the greatest; but it worked fine. The place was very roomie and the few steps to the apartment was fine. Just don't bring a lot of stuff and you will be fine. It is very walkable and in the center of everything. We loved our stay and the communication with Riccardo was fabulous. They even left us a bottle of wine; which was unexpected but sure a treat! Very close to the train station. I would stay here again. It was quite for how close it was to everything. The only thing that we would say would be extra towels, extra paper and soap for the bathrooms.

Great place. Centrally located (we walked everywhere). Very quiet despite being the first floor. Would definitely recommend it. Absolutely gracious host. We had a lovely time.

I stayed at Violet's House with my sister and our 20 something daughters. Violet's House is a gorgeous well appointed apartment. The pictures on line are accurate and the place is even lovelier in person. Apt is on a quiet street that is a short walk from the the train station and the hub of Florence. Kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed (shampoo, soap, TP, coffee and teas). Riccardo was a dream to work with. His communication was timely and helpful. It was so nice to be greeted and given a wealth of info on Florence sights, markets and eateries. Riccardo also left us a bottle of Chianti and a fruit basket. The bookshelves are loaded with reading materials and guidebooks in English and Italian. All of us said we would definitely stay here again and it was one of our favorite home rentals we have ever stayed in.

This roomy apartment was very close to everything in Florence. It was well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Riccardo was very helpful and provided all the information that you could want about the area. I was travelling with a friend and the two bedrooms and two bathrooms worked perfectly. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Ricardo was a great host and welcomed us with a bottle of wine, and little something for our son as a gift. The place was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities including coffee and other essentials.

The apartment is close to restaurants, train station and many locations, all within walking distance.

Riccardo was fantastic! I cannot say how wonderful the place was. It was luxurious well-stocked and close to everything we wanted to see. I would recommend it to anybody.

Love this place. Great location, very clean Even though this place is listed that it sleeps 6 people, there is an extra charge after 2 people. Be aware as we were surprised by the extra charge. You will not find this info listed anywhere on the listing.

We really enjoyed the apartment and the location. It was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Be sure to have the BUTTER CHICKEN at Sostanza’s.

Violet’s House was exceptional! Comfort of the masterbed, cleanliness, wine😀�, and all other amenities exceeded expectations. A wuiet and centralized location. Riccardo was so easy to work with and very accommodating. We were a 6 min walk to the train station, 10 min to The Central Market, and great shopping and Duomo. Truly the right choice for my family. Ricardo is a stand out excellent owner.....extremely friendly and superb communication throughout from booking to arrival. He could not be more helpful and has an incredible local knowledge...ask just about any question and he will be able to help The apartment is just excellent, warm, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with a whirlpool bath. The other with a shower unit. Plenty of towels, extra bedding if you do get chilly during a winter stay. The apartment is really beautifully renovated to an elegant style and design. Nice lounge area for chilling out in an evening and good sky channels to keep you entertained. Great kitchen facilities with dishwasher, cooker, fridge and freezer....etc...really well laid out and designed. Plenty of cutlery, crockery and a really nice welcome pack. So to location...out the front door, a quick right and onto the Main Street a left.....follow this road for about 10 minutes to the Mac Donald’s on the right hand corner take a right and you are 5 mins from the duomo....perfect location close to the city. Pam supermarket on the route, so you can pick up supplies on the way back home The apartment is situated up a few flights of stairs, with night lights to illuminate and bannister rails. Very very secure property. 5 - 10 minutes walk to the main train station and the tram system Ricardo will provide you with maps and info as required and list on the map good restaurants, ice cream parlours etc etc. Great nice light and airy apartment, with all the facilities you could need for a stay in this beautiful city. The apartment was only an 8 minute walk from the train station. There were plenty of restaurants and food markets in a few blocks radius. It was very convenient. Ricardo was on location to meet us. He had a bottle of wine and a basket of snacks. It was very welcoming. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen and living area was spacious and lent itself to our family gathering. We wanted for nothing in this rental. If I come to Florence again, I will definitely look up Ricardo and his rental. We were completely satisfied

It includes everything you need with all of the comforts and amenities of home. We were welcomed with a warm smile and a bottle of wine. He arranged an amazing private tour of Tuscany for us. We were picked up at the apt by a wonderful driver and beautiful English speaking tour guide. Driven all over Tuscany in a private Mercedes Benz. Florence is such a fun and colorful city. The food, shopping, museums and people of Florence made for a wonderful trip too.Don’t miss the climb to the top of the Duomo. We will be back to stay at Violet’s House, the location of the apt is great, walk to all the major sites, yet in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Thank you Riccardo, Patricia and Edward👍👍

Riccardo was very helpful in greeting us, explaining the use of the appliances, washing machine and key system. He helped us order taxis to the airport and suggested places to eat. We had a pleasant stay and this was a great last 4 days to our month trip.

I might add that Riccardo the property manager was great for answering any question regarding the area and the apartment. We will be back in the future while visiting Florence! Mike sr

This apartment was very comfotable, well equipped and very conveniently located close to the centre of Florence. Riccardo was very helpful in explaining how things worked and giving us tips on places to visit whilst in Florence. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to others.

We were so pleased with our stay at Violet's Place! The flat was quiet, clean and very well appointed. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable and the AC unit in the bedroom made for a quiet and good nights sleep after exploring all the beauty that Firenze and the countryside have to offer. Located about a 10-15 minute walk to the Duomo and other points of interest, we most enjoyed that this flat was away from the hustle, bustle and touristy center of the city. With plenty of restaurants and small markets around, we were able to enjoy breakfast on our own pace at the flat before setting out for the day and then wind down with antipasti and wine from the local markets before making our way out for dinners nearby. Our host, Riccardo, was timely, friendly and informative - providing ideas of places to visit and where to eat and drink. We loved our time in Firenze and will be back for more! Violet's Place is highly recommended. A top quality flat that you won't regret renting for your time in Florence.

Location of apartment optimal, very clean, Ricardo a very gracious host. Had a most pleasant stay in Florence. Train station is very close as most attractions within walking distance. Although it states it is a 1st floor apartment, realize that in Europe a 1st floor apt. is 1 flight above street level, as was this apt. It is clean, airy and the A/C in ;the bedrooms kept things comfortable. We walked to all the sites without difficulty, the farthest being only about a 25 minute walk, at the Piti Palace. I would stay here again on a return trip to Florence.

Staying at Violet's House in Florence was one of the most memorable highlights of our trip while visiting Italy. The apartment is exactly as pictured, very pretty and tastefully decorated. It's very spacious and extremely clean! Communication throughout the time leading to our arrival and during our stay was great Very close to the train station, places to eat and 10/15min walk to the Duomo. Riccardo also left a nice bottle of wine and pastries, we truly appreciated his thoughtfulness!
