Great location

Great property perfect for 5 couples. Slightly disappointed that when I booked I said we had a wedding out of town that was starting at 3 so asked if we could get into the property earlier to get ready as we were all traveling from out of town. Even though there was no one in the previous night we had to pay extra money to collect the keys a couple of hours earlier. Otherwise a great place to stay do handy to town and nice and big!!

very comfortable, easy walk into town, easy car parking, beds were good, plenty of room for an extended family of 8, loved the fire

4 single beds, only 1 with a working electric blanket, hand basins with no plugs,toilet with missing flush buttons, House needs a good Reno, still ok but getting very tired

Loved the location and the house was the perfect size for our group

Only small negative was a blocked/slow drain in the master bathroom shower which caused a bit of flooding and mopping. The kitchen cupboard where the rubbish bin was kept didn't shut well and would have been good to have an axe or some kindling for fire. All minor but feedback may help improve

Great location, close to town. Plenty of room for 8 people.

Cleaning could have been better. Cob webs hanging from walls & ceiling inside. Upstairs bathroom had mould around seal. Maybe requires some other form of heating downstairs other than fire.

Excellent house in an exceptional location. Walkable to the lake (300m), with lake views,walkable to the main shops/restaurants. An abundance of bathrooms is always so handy (4 bathrooms!). All bedrooms are well sized. Well setup for 10 people/2 families. Huge dining table plus outdoor dining, two lounge rooms, full laundry facilities.

Only downside was that in the peak of summer the house can become a bit of an oven. All bedrooms have openable windows however the air flow isn't great and it was hot trying to go to sleep at night. There is one air-conditioner in the upstairs lounge but that's the only form of cooling, if you're localish and coming in summer I'd recommend taking some pedestal fans if you can fit them in! We went to buy some but wanaka was completely sold out which happens every year and I wish I'd thought to bring a fan as we have a baby. Other than that no complaints the house was perfect for us.

Very clean and comfortable stay. Spacious and great facilities for cooking. Handy location.

The dining room chairs were worn and left white specks on the carpet. There was no vacuum cleaner to be able to clean up the mess.

Excellent location. Great facility for mixed extended family. Mum & Dad and two young children (4 year old & 6 year old), an aunt, an uncle and a grand mother and still room for their partners who sadly couldn't make the family skiing holiday!

Lovely Fireplace - Plenty of firewood. The provision of kindling wood and paper to start fire would have been helpful.
