Normally, our family meets at the beach for our annual get together. This year we decided to stay in the mountains. This is one of the best properties we've used. The home had ample room for our group of nine. My favorite spot was the screened in porch that feels like a treehouse. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. There are several shops and outdoor activities within driving distance.

Our stay was awesome. The cabin was beautiful and had plenty of room.

The home was clean and well-stocked. Loved having the screened in porch. The owners are very responsive. This is our second time staying there and we will be back.

This home is comfortable and provides something for all ages. We had small children with us over the Christmas break. The house was fully decorated for the holiday. It was such a thoughtful thing to do! The children enjoyed the game room, especially.

The cabin was deluxe, well-stocked, and clean. It had everything! We loved it for our family getaway and early Thanksgiving meal with out of state family members. We met in the middle, and this location did not disappoint!

We loved the cabin at the resort! The bottom level was perfect for our kids! They had their own living room and game room! Having one bedroom on the main level was perfect for anyone who had difficulty with stairs. The upper bedrooms were great! We loved being able to use the resort amenities! The location was close to the grocery store and many restaurants! We’ll definitely be back!

Everything was spot on , only issue was a bear that came around every morning to rummage through our cars . Even when cars were locked , he would scratch door handles trying to get in .

We had a wonderful time and this property was just perfect! The house is beautiful and very comfortable. I communicated with the owner several times and she was so pleasant and very quick to respond. The screened porches are so nice and we loved playing carpet ball with the kids. I can’t wait to come back!

This was the nicest vacation home my family has ever stayed. It was extremely well-maintained and very comfortable with plenty of room for our family of four. Although it had all he modern amenities you could want, the home still had that rustic mountain-feel that we so enjoy. It was an outstanding jumping off point for visiting the area's natural wonders. Joy was great to work with and very responsive. We could not have asked for better place to stay for our long weekend in Sapphire Valley.

Lovely house in a great location for visiting this area of North Carolina. Easy trips to Cashiers and Highlands. House is wonderful for a family get together with plenty of space and entertainment options.

The rental home was spacious and clean. The check in instructions was really good and getting the amenity cards at the community center as well. Everyone enjoyed their stay. When everyone connected to internet there was some lag we noticed. The rec center had pool, gym, tennis courts. We used the pool and gym daily. The rec center is 3 miles away from the rental hime. Would like to have trash and recycle containers separately. Used the grill and did some bbq. Did rent a pontoon boat at glenville lake and had lot of fun, Did visit two water falls nearby. Rainbow falls and sliding rock at cashiers. Overall everyone loved our stay and will come back again. Thanks.

Joy made the entire booking process and stay a breeze - the home was very clean and well-stocked with everything our family of 7 adults + 5 kids + 1 dog needed for a long weekend in beautiful Sapphire valley. As someone said previously, pictures don't do the house justice - it is very spacious and the adults spent lots of time on the screened in porch while the kids had the whole downstairs to themselves (game room + tv + carpetball on the deck). The house is even walking distance to beautiful Narrows Falls and we also used the member-guest amenities and enjoyed a visit to the Sapphire Valley Resort to swim in the heated indoor/outdoor pools. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property!

And the sunrises were amazing from the back decks. The set up was perfect. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. My grown kids came from Washington DC, Los Angeles, and Alabama to meet up with us there for the week. So many wonderful memories made there for us. One of my favorites was sitting around the fire pit, enjoying having the family together, as we made s’mores. So much to do at the cabin and within 30 minutes of the cabin…waterfalls, nearby towns for shopping, restaurants, ice skating, and just the scenery itself was breathtaking. This cabin was everything we thought it was and more! We loved the ping pong table and the outdoor game the most! Our friend group loves playing games with everyone and there was a ton of choices available. The open concept between the kitchen and living room was my favorite part and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather and hang out while cooking, playing a board game, or just socializing. The area outside of the house is by far one of the nicest towns we've ever visited. Definitely a very well maintained neighborhood and region!!

We could not have had a better experience with Joy and her beautiful home for Thanksgiving week. We had 8 adults, three children under 4, and two dogs…and yet we somehow had plenty of room. Pictures don’t do the home justice - it is large, spacious, and well laid out. Furniture, appliances, art - everything was very high end and it felt like we were in a family members home rather than a rental. Extremely clean upon arrival, and well stocked. We loved the gas fireplaces and fire pit, along with all the indoor AND outdoor seating areas. The home is in a great neighborhood and super convenient to the Ingles grocery down the road, Cashiers, and Highlands. Tons of walkability including the beautiful waterfall nearby. Smart TV’s upstairs and downstairs with Direct TV, and strong wifi that was up to the task for my wife who worked one of the days from the home. Communication was stellar throughout with Joy - her name is very fitting. We will definitely be back, and look forward to it!
