We were three middle aged couples and loved this house for us. The common living area was very spacious. We loved the covered outdoor area, both for protection of the sun and rain! We cooked most our meals in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location within Poipu. We are definitely coming back! Thank you

We really enjoyed this home! We had 6 adults and one infant. The house is spacious and the four full baths were very appreciated. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor eating and relaxing areas. The pack and play and high chair were a bonus as well. We would absolutely stay here again and are already planning to!!

Absolutely beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood on a golf course and close to everything. The pool was a perfect size, larger than it looked in the photos. Air conditioning would have been nice but we managed with the many fans that were provided. I would come back to Kauai and rent this property again in an instant!

My family and I loved staying in this house. It’s in the perfect location to explore the east, south and west of the island. And the pool is perfect for those days when you prefer to release. Thank you Kathy for allowing us to share your lovely home.

We stayed at this house in late June 2022. We were a party of 5 adults and 1 older teenager. The house was great. The master suite allowed my husband and I to be separate from the family of 4 but still hang out together. The listing is exactly as advertised. The house is spacious with a full kitchen that had everything we needed to make our meals. The pool and lanai were great.--there was plenty of comfortable furniture and when we were home it is where we spent most of our time. The location is easy to find and the neighborhood was quiet. Communication with the owner and property mgr was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing. A perfect set up for our family vacation to Kauai. The place has everything you need, and centrally located. The pool was really nice to cool off. Would definitely rent this place again.

Our family of eight had a wonderful stay at the beautiful home on Poipu’s Kiahuna golf course and we would do it again! The home was spacious, clean, welcoming and well appointed with kitchen appliances, cookware, beach and pool toys! The pool was amazing to cool off in after a day of exploring the island… and was a highlight for the kiddos. While AC would be a nice to have, it’s not a must have when you open all the windows and have the fans going. You cannot beat this location in Poipu. It was a 2-5 min drive to anything in Poipu/Koloa. Lastly, I cannot say enough about Maya the property manager. She was an amazing help to us when we accidentally left a bag in the house and realized once we go to the airport. She was responsive and so willing to help us. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip and better accommodations for our family. Mahalo!

This property had amazing views and an extra level of privacy with the golf course behind you. Enough supplies for your beach days and all the cooking supplies you’ll need! House was clean and beds were super comfortable. Great location and only about a 25 minute drive from the airport and a 5 minute drive to the beach. 5 star stay for us and our family will definitely be back!

We spent 7 days in this home and it was wonderful! The home is a little outdated, besides the kitchen that was recently remodeled, but it was very clean and easily met all of our needs. We had 8 people in the home so we used two of their blow up beds. They were awesome! Not your typical, low to the ground blow up beds. They were plush and comfortable. The first one we used ended up deflating in the night but they had two others that worked perfectly. The pool is small and simple but our kids loved playing in it or lounging around it each day. And we were so grateful for the beach chairs and beach towels we could take with us to the beach everyday. The home is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We loved nightly walks around the area. We would go back in a heartbeat!

A few issues we had made this home less than ideal though. First off, if you are a light sleeper, or actually like to sleep, this is not the place for you. If you don’t know, Kauai has lots of roosters. They start crowing at about 2 -3 am, and go on for hours! Lots of them, sometimes right out our window! Because there isn’t air conditioning, you want to have the windows open, and it’s really rough. Also, due to the fact that it is right on the golf course, a couple times a week they start mowing the grass at 5 am, which also is bad for getting sleep. In addition, there was a renovation going on next door that was quite noisy, but at least that was time specific and won’t effect anyone else. It’s really unfortunate and definitely affected our enjoyment of this lovely house.

I loved the peaceful early mornings on the lanai near the pool and the grandkids aged 5 and 22 months loved the pool. This was the second trip to Kauai for myself, my wife and my daughter and we were so happy that this wonderful island lived up tp our memories from our first trip in 2004. It was an easy walk to shopping and the beach and I can't imagine a better place to stay than this house. It was even better than the we expected from the pictures. Wayne T.

We loved our stay at Hale Kai! This was our first trip in two years and our last trip to Kauai was five years ago and I am so glad we choose this house! The home was very clean, comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and the views out over the golf course and the ocean beyond were awesome! We walked to the Poipu Village for coffee almost every morning, swam in the pool, took a short drive to the beach and went on many great adventures. It could not have been better! Maya the property manager is super friendly and helpful. We didn't need anything while we there she just stopped by to check on us. Thank you Kathy for sharing your home with us.
