Dominique the host was absolutely friendly. Had breakfast in the wonderful garden. Accommodation is absolutely beautiful, quiet and close to one of France's most important forests owned by the State, la Foret Domaniale des Senonches. La Pastorale is only 45 mins drive away from Chartres and a much shorter drive to Giverny which is most famous for Monet's house and garden where he painted the bridge and the water lilies.
Nothing.

The very peaceful country aspect and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly host, good breakfast and a calm, relaxing place to spend time. A few good restaurants and small towns within 10km.
Nothing to dislike!

Très bien accueillis nous avons apprécié le calme de cette maison, l’indépendance de notre chambre avec parking à proximité , le confort du lit .
Le bon petit déjeuner servi dans le jardin
L’éclairage insuffisant de la salle d’eau…

Lovely freshly squeezed orange juice
We were unable to find the property for over an hour, some signs for La Pastorale at road junctions would be helpful.
