One&Only Portonovi

Very quiet, peaceful and comfortable you feel relax. Location is nice room is nice. Also, the stuff is wonderful and very professional. food and service is excellent.

I though the service in the Italian restaurant was slow.They were under staffed. Also re lunch which was excellent but would have been helpful yo have a snack option.

One&Only Portonovi is a beautiful property with spacious, elegant rooms, excellent facilities, a lovely setting and a very good breakfast. There are also some genuinely excellent staff members who went out of their way to help during my stay. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the level I would expect from One&Only or from a hotel at this price point. Service was inconsistent, particularly around the pool and beach, where I often had to actively look for staff to order food or drinks. Communication and ownership were also lacking when problems arose with hotel-arranged services. The property is huge, with several pools and restaurants, but surprisingly it felt very quiet and lacked atmosphere even in August. Food and drink availability between lunch and dinner was also much more limited than I would expect from a luxury resort. Overall, the hotel has enormous potential and the physical product is impressive, but the service, attention to detail and atmosphere need to improve significantly to justify the price and the One&Only name.
