Abbiamo aperto la strada allo sviluppo sul lato ovest ora più desiderabile dell'isola, quindi siamo stati in grado di selezionare la migliore posizione lì. La casa e la bellezza naturale del luogo hanno una proprietà magica che i visitatori e la gente del posto acclamano come i migliori dell'isola. C'è una spiaggia sabbiosa semi-privata, una spiaggia isolata accessibile solo ai nuotatori, rocce dalle quali si può immergersi nell'oceano e persino una grotta sottomarina segreta. Ci sono alberi di pino per ombra e ulivi. La pace e la tranquillità sono totalmente rilassanti. L'acqua limpida è l'ideale per lo snorkeling.
Se hai bisogno di più spazio rispetto alla casa principale con 2 camere da letto, c'è anche uno studio sulla proprietà che può ospitare 2-3 persone in più. Ha il suo portico e viste.

This is a comfortable and well equipped villa in a really special location. The listing's photos really don't do it justice. Amazing swimming and snorkeling right from the foot of the garden. The remote location adds to its charm and privacy. The drive to/from the main road along rough tracks along the steep hillside is not for the faint hearted but is perfectly do-able in a family car (and very scenic)!
The host is very helpful, communicative and friendly - 5 stars all round!

This is one of the best locations on Alonissos. If you love blue sea, rocks, pines and remotedness from busy beaches, this is the place to go. The house is in better condition than the photos may indicate. Yes, the hand-made wooden furniture is 50+ years old, but fully functional and emanates the history of the house. Otherwise the equipment is up to modern standards (AC, dishwasher, etc.). We enjoyed our stay very much, just a bit suffered from mosquitoes, which were more frequent this summer. The locals, who maintain the house, don´t speak English, but we always reached understanding at the end:-) Many thanks Joy to let us spend our holiday in your lovely house!

It has to be seen and enjoyed to be believed. We joked that it looked like a witness protection program of sorts. Incredibly smartly designed villa, using nature in a clever way, enjoying the best location and position I have seen in the Aegean and giving you the feeling that you are in a movie - without being pretentious or trying hard to impress. Once you read the story behind its construction (won't spoil it), you will understand how and why it came to be so special.
Wanted to visit again this year (yes, it was so good), but it was not listed.

Joy's house is in a unique location, surrounded by pine trees and overlooking the sea toward sunset.
Some of the most beautiful beaches on the island can be reached directly by swimming or walking and you can also take beautiful walks around. The house is comfortable and hospitable. And Joy is a very helpful and punctual host. The cleaning lady is nice and thorough.
We had a great time, wonderful holidays!
