Oak Lodge is on the edge of Exmoor National Park with wide country views.
Il Lodge si trova in una posizione ideale per visitare il Parco Nazionale di Exmoor.
È stato adattato per accogliere persone parzialmente disabili. Ha una rampa fino alla porta d'ingresso e tutto è su un unico livello. È adatto per una sedia a rotelle e uno dei bagni è stato convertito in una stanza umida con servizi igienici per disabili.
Perfetto per le vacanze tutto l'anno per feste fino a quattro persone.
Il lodge è riscaldato da una pompa di calore ad aria che utilizza il riscaldamento a pavimento.
Le camere sono dotate di letti con cerniera e link in modo da poter avere un letto matrimoniale king-size o due letti singoli. Entrambe le camere sono dotate di bagno privato e porte finestre sul patio.
Il patio è lungo il lodge e si affaccia a sud offrendo una vista sulla campagna circostante.
C'è un giardino recintato nel patio che è l'ideale per i cani.

What a wonderful time away we had! A great, well-appointed, superbly clean lodge in wonderful surroundings. Clive and Judeth were the perfect hosts. It was so good we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay. We're looking forward to visiting again.

We had a great stay at oak lodge. We were there because our daughter was attending a field studies trip so we were both working but the excellent wifi, comfortable and well equipped accommodation and fantastic walks right from the doorstep made WFH so much easier.

Oak Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Set in a wondeful location in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The lodge was spotless, well equipped, and extremely comfortable. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Starting with a positive the house was very clean on arrival and check in went smoothly. The house is in a lovely location with a beautiful view from the decking behind the lodge. Things started to go wrong when we had a problem with the showers as the heating control did not work meaning the water was too hot to have a shower. I e mailed the owner straight away but did not get a response for over a day so we had no useable showers for 2 days in the middle of a heatwave. Eventually the owner got his sister in law to do a temporary fix on the showers so we had them working for half our stay. We also had a problem with the oven which was not heating up properly and took 3 times the expected time to cook food. Also the 2 frying pans were unuseable as they had lost their non stick properties meaning our food burned. The frying pans were replaced as soon as we reported this which was a relief.
