Windmill Springs In Gruene With River frontage! Walking distance to Gruene Hall!
Casa situata sulla strada Gruene a pochi passi dalla storica Gruene Hall e dai negozi circostanti. Perfetto per un weekend scappare con spazio per ospitare 12 con parcheggio per 5 auto! Dall'altra parte della strada da The Villa in Gruene e Infernos Pizza. Un sacco di attività raggiungibili a piedi in modo da poter lasciare la macchina alle spalle e godersi tutta l'area che ha da offrire tra cui bar, musica dal vivo, tubi, rafting, shopping e altro ancora! La stanza in basso è l'archiviazione del proprietario e non è inclusa nel noleggio.

We do this trip every year. We really like this property. The location is great and river access was perfect. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Our family of 10 had a great time at the Windmill Springs house in Gruene. The location is ideal!A quick walk to the shops and restaurants of Gruene.As well, a nice nature walk to the river front with perfect depth for river chair chilling. The best of both - Calm rapids flowing into calm water.The home owner was excellent at answering my list of questions before and during our trip.The outdoor decks are great for relaxing at the end of the evening.We will return

Overall appearance was clean. However, noticeable cob webs in the skylight and ceiling fans, as well as thick dust on window blinds and A/C intake vents. Also, the deck has loose/broken boards with exposed nails and/or screws, which was concerning with little ones around. The second floor patio sliding glass door does not lock. As noted in the comments, the path down to the river is a difficult hike up and down, but doable. Not good for elderly or young kids. Kitchen could also be better furnished. All easy fixes that should be taken care of.
Nice to have an industrial ice maker available, and the beds were comfortable.
