Peninsula Beach Resort

I liked the location. Everything I needed - ie supermarkets, were all close by. The breakfast was great. A really good variety and it was all delicious. The best part was our spot sitting by the pool, facing the ocean, trying to spot Gunung Agung through the clouds and watching people go past on the footpath. Meeting all the locals. The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially Adam who looked after us by the pool with food and drinks and interesting information about the location and the resort. Also, a special shout out to the lovely security men at the front. They always made sure we could cross the road safely.

The only thing I was a little disappointed with was that the top of the cabinet where the coffee and tea and kettle were kept was not cleaned very well. There were little ants in the container where the coffee, tea and sugar sachets were kept and also along the back of the cabinet top. I used some of my mosquito spray and then wet a cloth to wipe it off and the whole surface was quite grubby. The floor also needed to be mopped as I would walk around in bare feet after a shower and my feet would get dirty. I didn't say anything at the time as it wasn't a huge issue.

I didn’t realise I wouldn’t have a balcony. But it was okay

Comfortable bed. Clean. Friendly staff

Lack of things usually supplied in other accommodation, ie hairdryer, tea towel to wipe cups after washing. Great place for older inactive people to laze around the pool all day, but not for us as we like to keep active. Bathroom too dark.

We liked that you could go to Peninsula Bay or Beach. Breakfast was amazing and the staff fantastic!

Our room was very basic but clean. Very tiny and no hairdryer in room.
