There's not much that could have made our stay here better..... wait, I'm wrong. If we could have stayed longer, it would have been perfect!
Communication with the owner was easy and prompt regarding the wifi.
We were in Gulf Shores for an event and it was an easy 8 minute walk to the Hangout, where much of the event was held.
I was a bit surprised at no beach towels or coffee supplies provided, but there was complimentary laundry detergent, which came in handy.
Great unit in which to relax, do a little work and enjoy that white, sugar sand beach.

We planned a girls trip for five of us. It was the best time. With in walking distance to many things. The beach was beautiful, clean area, and quiet dispute being by two larger units. Although, we did discover the door wouldn’t catch the lock when pulled to close. We didn’t realize until the second to last day. Nothing was missing but we figured it was probably a little late to let someone know. Thanks for the great stay. We had a blast.

Great location, close to beach, restaurants etc. Unit needs a lot of attention to cleanliness, hidebed very poor, needs to be propped up to sleep in. Bathroom drain plugged, tv in master won’t work, front door is very loose, keypad numbers wore off

Perfect view and location
With a family of 2 younger children, this was the perfect location overlooking the beach. The pool was relaxing and the beach is right outside the door!

the property was clean and right on the beach, comfortable beds the bathtub in one of the bathrooms is a little worn, other bathroom has updated beautiful shower.
The only things that would make the place perfect would be a walkway to beach for those who may need that, and washer and dryer in the room instead of shared laundry,

The condo was right on the beach between the Hangout and Bahama Bob's and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The view was amazing! It was clean and exactly as described. Plenty of parking and laundry facilities on site. We received quick responses from the owner when we had questions. The beds are adjustable so you are able to put the head of the bed up if needed and the mattresses were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on while on vacation. We would definitely stay here again!

For the price point, the location was worth it to stay here. Condo was a bit dated although that was not important to us. Kids enjoyed the small pool at the complex but note it is not heated.

Great visit to GS!
This is our second time renting from David and it’s was just great! The unit was very clean, nicely updated and very comfortable! You’re only steps away from the beach and a short walk from many great restaurants and shops. The balcony provides a great view of the beach and the sunrise in the morning! We will definitely be renting at Southern Sands again! This has become our favorite vacation town!

The place was great lication, awesome views of the beach from the balcony. Enough room to feel at home and very comfortable beds. The owners were very reachable if you need anything. We will definitely be back! 5 stars!

This property was one of my favorites out of many that I have stayed in over the past 30 years. The location was perfect, the condo was roomy and comfortable and the decor was lovely. We had to go to walmart at 10:30pm the first night to get sheets for the bed. The sheets had not been changed! There was sand at the foot of my bed and the spare sheets smelled musty like they'd been put away wet. All of the comforters and blankets smelled as if they'd not been washed in a long time and a lot of dust on cabinets and shelves. There was no parking pass which the owner did explain but also no parting instructions anywhere in the condo. I totally loved the place and would love to visit it again but hopefully the housekeeping staff will be updated by then.

Firstly, the view is amazing!! Small property so the pool was never overrun. Easy parking and getting up to condo. The host was so nice and responsive. Condo kitchen is well stocked and lots of games stored in the living room!! We enjoyed our stay!!
