Everything was just as advertised. A perfect period cottage with tons of character. Has everything you need and more. We will be staying again for sure.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is restored, rustic, and charming. Throughout the weekend we found interesting aspects of the house. The location makes for an easy commute to surrounding attractions.

Loved the house and the location. Close enough to see lots of little villages as well as some bigger cities in Vermont.
The house is set a little close to the historic Mohawk trail and can get noisy on weekends but with the added convenience of easily going to places. If you have the time, go to Mass MoCA!

The house is close to the river. We made multiple day trips all around. Downtown is small but the flower Bridge, restaurant and bowling were a big hit!

My family and I were attending a local family reunion in the area and stayed at this beautiful home. It is a lovely property and was the perfect spot for a fun family getaway. The charm, beautiful decor and attention to detail really stole my heart. The natural light in the property and the grounds surrounding the house were beautiful. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We will most definitely be back!

Wonderful setting and home.
We stayed for two nights while we attended the green river festival. The house was clean and simple and a pleasure to stay in after long days at the fairgrounds. Would certainly consider staying there again.

We really enjoyed this house. As owners of an antique home ourselves, we lingered over every little detail. It’s certainly been well-loved and cared for. Don’t forget your folding chairs for sunset from the field :)

House is simple, comfortable and beautiful. Slight drawback is location on Rte 2. Highly recommend.

The home exceeded our expectations and the pictures didn’t do the property justice. So many thoughtful and functional details are scattered through the rooms. It was clean and in pristine condition. The dining room was gorgeous but without a fire in the fireplace we stayed in the kitchen mostly where it was warm and bright. Sunlight streams throughout this property. I wish there had been a set of wine glasses to clink. We used the juice glasses and made do just fine.

Be aware that Mass Rt 2 (a two lane highway) runs quite close to the property, so you can definitely hear traffic noise from time to time. But the other qualities of the property more than compensate for this.

Your farm house worked out very well for us from NYC up to participate in the annual gravel ride Deerfield Dirt Road Randonnee or D2R2. It is spacious and the 3 bathrooms were a plus. We all admired the wood construction. The large dining table was the center of activity.

This property is so unique and is definitely worth checking out. It’s very comfortable and there is plenty of room to spread out if you come with a large group. There are lots of thoughtful details to discover. The location is beautiful - it’s a quick drives to some of the best small towns in Western Massachusetts.

We stayed a month at the house in the middle of the Covid pandemic, it was the perfect escape for us: - the area is beautiful with loads to do, whether exploring charming towns, go hiking, or have a blast at the nearby resort for an afternoon mountain biking (Jiminy Peak is an hour away with a great adventure park open in summer as well)- The house is big with lots of land to explore, there is even a stream on the property- Property is very charming, with beautiful wooden beams, brick walls, hardwood floors and also very well-equipped- It was spotless clean when we arrivedAdditionally, John was a great host, he was very helpful, happy to show us around and available whenever we needed anything.We could not have been happier to have stayed in the house, we loved it and will definitely come back!

- Property is very charming, with beautiful wooden beams, brick walls, hardwood floors and also very well-equipped
- It was spotless clean when we arrived
Additionally, John was a great host, he was very helpful, happy to show us around and available whenever we needed anything.
We could not have been happier to have stayed in the house, we loved it and will definitely come back!

This home is located on a beautiful stretch of rt 2, convenient to Shelburne Falls and the Deerfield River. We had a great stay! My kids were surprised that there was no tv, but that created more opportunity for family game night and learning how to play the lovely piano in the home. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable.

Charming old cabin. Easy access to town. Needs an outside motion activated light so cabin can be found in the dark!
