This is the best condo we’ve stayed in in Waikiki. The unit is well equipped and the beds are comfortable.
It has A/C throughout but with all the patio doors we were very comfortable without using the A/C. Mark was very responsive with any minor questions we had. This will be our Waikiki spot when we return.

The penthouse was a perfect fit for our group of 5 adults. The common areas were spacious and had plenty of chairs. The full refrigerator was convenient for keeping leftovers and cold beverages. Location is super convenient with an ABC store right next door or a Longs down the street. Many walkable options for shopping, eating, coffee, and desserts. Instructions for checking in, directions, and checking out were very detailed and accurate.
Things to keep in mind (no impact to satisfaction of our stay):
- The parking garage is a little tight getting in and out of especially if you have a van/larger SUV. I would recommend a sedan or mid size SUV if you can. We did have a van and I had no problems getting in/out - just a lot of tight spots.
- There is a small flight of stairs you have to take up to the top floor after you take the elevator up. Be prepared to carry your luggage up and down. We also did Koko summit on our second day and stairs were not my friend after this hike.
All in all we had comfortable stay and I would definitely come back again! Mahalo!

Property was just as we hoped! We aren’t “city people” but could appreciate the beauty of downtown Waikiki! We had 6 adults and we had ample room for all of us. There are two additional boogie boards and 2 new backpack chairs added to the outdoor amenities . Could use a better broom ( we got a little whisk broom and dust pan) for sweeping up.The grill is a panini press (not a BBQ 😊) but I did make steaks and pancakes on it. Coffee Maker carafe isn’t the correct one for the pot so it took a little rigging to make the coffee without leaking It was a great place to stay with easy access in and out. Try out the shaved ice downstairs!! Yum!

We loved the penthouse. It was perfect for our needs and we couldn't have asked for a better location. We loved seeing the sunrise and sunset all from our own patio. Check-in and communication was great and our host was very responsive.

Very convenient to everything from stores , restaurant, beach, walking distance. Condo very spacious. Only beds that were uncomfortable were the twin beds need softer mattress, pillows too flat but overall very happy with the condo.

My husband and 3 teens had a great stay in the penthouse! The listing was very accurate. The location was excellent - easy walking distance to main strip of Waikiki beach and shopping/dining! All the beds were comfortable. We used the bedroom AC units for sleeping but otherwise just opened the window slats and doors. The flooring is gorgeous. The location and access to the apartment felt very safe. Dedicated parking spot was incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Follow Mark's directions to retrieve the elevator key and you will save yourself some frustration.

If you are looking for a good location then this is a great spot. Its close to downtown Waikiki. With that in mind you get all the city noise, which didnt bother us.
Condo was stocked with all the basics which was great, if you plan on doing laundry bring a few tide pods with you.
Unit had cold blowing AC in all rooms and main living spaces which is a plus and also hard to find in rentals on the islands.
Overall space was perfect for a family of 5.
Parking garage is tight due to high traffic at the shave ice shop. I suggest backing your vehicle in when you come and go, its a tight turn and lots of people.
We had hiccups when we got there but Mark did remedy it and make it right. He does travel for work so with that and time differences it was sometimes difficult to contact him.
We had to call the tow company for a vehicle in the rental spot on our 2nd day.
If you are older or handicapped be aware you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs to the 11th floor. Just a friendly heads up.
Good condo to crash for the night during your trip.

There were a few hiccups at the beginning with checkin and room conditions, but the manager responded quickly to attend to the issues. Everything else was pleasant and my family had a great time.

So easy to get to the beach, restaurants, and shopping without using the car. Kids really enjoyed the place. Watching the fireworks from the balcony was a great way to end the vacation.

The property was comfortable size for 6 adults and had very nice views from the balcony! We were very happy to have parking included. It was a good location, walking distance to Waikiki Beach and lots of shops and restaurants.

Perfect location. We were able to get to most places by walking. The size was perfect for 6 people. The upkeep could have been better, the bathroom sink did not drain well, not enough garbage bags, and the roomba didnt work well. We swept instead but there was no dust pan. It was nice to have washer and dryer, but the dryer didnt dry well. Other than that we enjoyed the stay. I would stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time in the penthouse. Not a new place and not the kind of showplace where you’re afraid to sit on the furniture. Invitingly lived-in. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are nicely remodeled - love the rainhead showers! Kitchen is small but adequate. And the wrap-around balcony sells the place. Choose sun or shade any time of day. One end overlooks a green space and has two views of the ocean, the other gives a peek at the mini concerts on Lewers St.
Did I mention the location? Right in the middle of everything - restaurants, ABC convenience stores, coffee shops, and the beach is 5 minutes away if you walk slowly. Car rental place right across the street - really good service. For breakfast, try Eggs n Things a block away on Saratoga, and for fish, Paia, about a 10-minute walk on Kuhio.
Our host, Mark, was super - friendly, helpful and responsive. Had an issue with an appliance (nobody’s fault), and he was right on it.
If I have to say something negative, it’s about Waikiki, not the condo. Delivery trucks start making noise about 4:30 am and it can be hard for us old-timers to get back to sleep.
All in all, we’re really glad we stayed here.

The lanais are wonderful in person. The pix don’t convey the openness of the space. It’s a very special place. Four adults for a week. Never felt cramped.

Great communication with Mark, who provided additional toiletries and laundry soap-I think the cleaning crew might not have realized we were there for 2 weeks.
It was a few extra steps to get to the penthouse, but worth it, spacious open areas inside and out and great view of the Friday fireworks, the ocean, city and mountains.
We were able to use the snorkeling gear and body board; added to the collection with an additional board to leave behind and chair float for others to enjoy the beaches.
Nice having a dedicated parking spot off-street, and security of keyed elevator access for building. There is a great shave ice at the bottom of the building, highly recommend it- their staff is very friendly and the line for their treats can be lengthy, but all move pretty easily when getting in/out of parking. .
During our stay the holiday season (through Christmas and New Years) it was a bit loud from nearby venues like Hard Rock and other clubs, but hey, it’s Waikiki in the winter- understandable.

This rental was everything we could have hoped for and the host was awesome. Location and amenities were just terrific. If there was any downside, and it had nothing to do with the host, this is an urban location and there is a fair bit of city noise if you are sensitive to that. Otherwise, could not recommend it more highly. Great host.

Penthouse apartment at the top of the building AND designated garage parking spot in Waikiki- can't be beat! The location is super convenient to everything (restaurants, beach, shopping) and pretty close to downtown Honolulu and Chinatown as well. AC worked perfectly and snorkels + boogie boards are a plus! Views from the lanai were gorgeous. Lahaina Shave Ice in the garage and Henry's ice cream/sorbet across the street were great finds. 5 stars, Mahalo!

Brilliant top floor apartment. My only minor complaint is the external noise factor which can't be helped. Traffic etc. But the almost wrap around balcony (which is rare in Waikiki) and the views from it, is magnificent. This apartment is very spacious as well.

Our family of seven adults stayed five nights at this condo. Condo had everything we needed for our stay. The wrap-around lanai was the highlight of the unit! We thoroughly enjoyed eating meals out there plus just sitting and enjoying the sunrise and sunsets. We had a minivan and while the parking spot itself is plenty wide, we did sometimes have to have someone outside of the van assisting getting out if a larger vehicle was parked behind us. Five minute walk to the beach and plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again if we needed space for our entire family.

Great location , spectacular views , and plenty of room for a family of 8. We stayed for 5 days and were in walking distance to the beaches, convenience stores, restaurants, and shops. The penthouse was a treat and allowed for plenty of scenic views , lounging , and family gathering. Fireworks ( every Friday ) can be privately viewed from your lanai which wraps around ( 3-sides ). Best seat / view in the house. There was plenty of room for lounging and family gathering inside the penthouse with a large round dining table for family dining with a family living area just to the right to watch tv. Plenty of space inside and outside for everyone to enjoy what Oahu / Waikiki has to offer. Mark the owner was awesome in providing information / planning for our stay. He was always available if we had any concerns or questions . Our stay was both memorable and enjoyable , our grandsons did not want to leave and were tearful, overall, an awesome vacation that I would highly recommend staying here at Marks beautiful penthouse. We do have one suggestion, that maybe in the future , that door locks would be available on each bathroom (2) .

The penthouse at the Niihau is well located at the western end of Waikiki near Fort Derussy. It's spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a big dining/living room area. The lanai wraps around 3 sides of the unit allowing for sun or shade anytime of the day. It has a full kitchen and in suite washer dryer. Very handy. The provided beach towels and other beach equipment was useful for our trip as we like to hit the beaches around the island. The provided parking is also very handy given the cost of parking in Waikiki. We would definitely book it again.

It was an enjoyable week in the penthouse. Everything we needed was available. The view is awesome.
We were told about having to access the 11th floor by 14 steps after leaving the elevator on the 10th floor. That was only a problem when having to deal with the luggage for 5 adults. Just something to take note of.

Very spacious apartment. Great for families in this quieter building. Steps from the beach and restaurants and shops. The only thing to note is if you are travelling with people with mobility issues - the unit is the penthouse and access is via elevator and 2 short flights of stairs.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, walking distance to restaurants, ABC store, many other stores. We spent every morning having coffee on the Lanai. We made breakfast every morning in the kitchen which saved $. Had afternoon snack time on the Lanai too.. Very comfortable accommodations. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was good and it was great to have a free parking space. You don't need a car if all you are doing is exploring Waikiki since you can walk to most places. We were past residents so visiting family and the parking helped a lot.

The property is located in the tourist heart of Waikiki. The location provides lots of evening energy for those who love the night life. The urban sounds were a bit much for early rising country folk, but otherwise the location is ideal for all. Compared to other properties in the area, Ni’ihau penthouse is top value for the dollar. It is every bit worth the climb up 14 steps to the 11th floor.

We were close to all the great spots for 1) food, 2) surfing lessons, and 3) Mai-tai sunset sail. Plus, we were close to ABC store for shopping.

This condo is everything! Great location! The penthouse is walking distance to many shopping areas the beach, places to eat, places to drink. We got a rental car and didn’t even really need it! The zoo is very close as well! Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. The owner was responsive and someone did take a picture of a bunch of sand and scuba stuff and towels in front of our door, we did leave it there when we went to lunch after a morning at the beach. All the towels blew off the balcony and looked a mess. We went home and cleaned it up, this was the only hiccup in our vacation other than that would definitely come again in the near future!!! Thanks host for an unforgettable first trip to Hawaii 🌺

The place was really nice and clean. Perfect area for going out and dining or shopping. Only an hour drive to north shore as well. If we ever make it back I would definitely stay here again!
