Pine Nook was a perfect house for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. It was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The owners were easy to get in touch with and friendly. The location was convenient and the neighborhood quiet. We can’t say enough nice things about this house.

This property met all our expectations. Clean, neat, clear communications with owner. Everything was thought out ahead of time by the owner, and it made a huge difference. I have already written the owner to schedule for next year. If you need a place that has pretty much everything, this just might be it. Great kitchen, super screened-in porch and deck, comfortable rooms, and the right amount of quiet. Worth checking out.

Helen was able to get us an early check-in (big plus) and left a binder of helpful things to know and places to go. Property was close to nearby attractions and suited our needs. Rooms were spacious and cozy, aside from the kitchen area which felt a tad too small for our group of five women (mini-reunion). Overall, a nice, relaxing getaway.

This is the second time my family has stayed at this property and we were very happy. The house was clean and had everything necessary. It is located between Bolton and Lake George making it easy to get to either place quickly.

Helens home was clean and only 10 minutes from downtown where winterfest was held. Plenty of parking, outdoor screened in patio was useful because it wasn't too cold out when we stayed. Plenty of games and books and wifi actually worked. Bed accommodations was sufficient for us 3 couples. I personally enjoyed the top bunk of the bunk bed. I'd definitely stay there again.

Family of four (2 adults and 2 kids ) stayed for 3 nights in December 2022. Property was as advertised and was clean and modern. Appliances updated and nice layout with kitchen and dining room on one side with access to screened in porch which would be great in the summer. 2 family members joined us on last night and the three bedrooms and 2 full baths were perfect. Beds were comfortable. Modern thermostat and gas fireplace in living room made house for easy temperature control. 30-35 minute drive to Gore (albeit there wasn’t snow or ice on the roads when we were there ). Extra features which we didn’t use included washer and dryer in a separate mud room at entry door and a small separate office. Highly recommend this property, would be great for all seasons, and owner was responsive. Thanks Helen for a great stay !

Our family of three (2 adults and a 3 year old) rented this home for a fall getaway to the Adirondacks, and we had an amazing time! The pictures posted on this site give a great idea of what the house is like, but it is so much prettier and impressive in person! We loved the large deck, the privacy of the home, the decor, and even got to use the fireplace on chilly nights. The home is also situated right between the towns of Lake George and Bolton Landing. We explored both towns and tried restaurants in each place (Lake George pizza places deliver to the home! We did that for an easy meal one night.) We also drove to spend a day in Saratoga and our daughter spent the day trick-or-treating in town as part of the Fall Festival. We really hope to return and bring more family members. Thank you Helen for a great vacation!

We traveled with 4 adults and one toddler. We were so impressed with the house and the spaces available to us. We were all very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

We have been coming to Lake George for several years now. Our friends wanted to check out Lake George with us and suggested renting a house this time. It was a great idea! Check in was a breeze with the lockbox. It was so nice to come home instead of going back to a cramped hotel room. We could relax on the huge couch or the screened in porch, and/or play games at the big kitchen table! The kitchen had everything you could ever need! We loved the modern rustic decor, especially all of the pine cone touches throughout the house. Helen was terrific to work with and always responded quickly to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again! Needless to say, we all had a wonderful time!

Great Visit!
My adult children and toddler grandchild came up to the area to visit family in Bolton Landing. We were so pleased with our accommodations. Location was great. The house was clean and cozy with all of the modern conveniences you would need. Checking in and out was hassle-free. My new go-to place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at pine nook. It’s conveniently located right near Lake George and Bolton Landing. The house is in a quiet area with a pretty wooded view in the backyard. If the weather was warmer, we would have spent all our time out on the screened porch or deck! However, we enjoyed the fireplace inside and the family board games we played.
The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. The house has been completely remodeled and the attention to detail is really evident. The doors and trim and hand carved corner pieces are all such high quality! We loved the hard wood floors too. The washer and dryer are great to have and the big kitchen table is nice for family dinners. Helen was very quick to respond to any question or concern.

We enjoyed our stay at pine nook. It’s conveniently located right near Lake George and Bolton Landing. The house is in a quiet area with a pretty wooded view in the backyard. If the weather was warmer, we would have spent all our time out on the screened porch or deck! However, we enjoyed the fireplace inside and the family board games we played.

Beautiful home
This is a beautiful, well kept and clean country home. It's very close to Lake George village which was very convenient. The owners were pleasant and responsive and really care about their home and the renters enjoyment. I would definitely go back again.

We came up from MD (3 of us) for a wedding in Warrensburg and decided to make a vacation out of it. Invited some family from Albany to stay with us. Others stayed at other rentals or hotels in the area. Those who visited us were amazed at the house & amenities compared to what they paid for their rentals. The location isn't on (or near) the lake but it is fairly private and away from the bustle of the village, although it is within minutes of driving time to attractions on/near the lake. The house was immaculate and had that Adirondack feel to it. Beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, blankets, etc. WIFI worked fine. We didn't lack for much of any kitchen appliance/utensils/cookware (bring your own blender though!). The screened in back porch was great for relaxing and conversing. And having everything on one floor was perfect for our 90 year old Mom. Check-in was easy and went just as the host described. We would definitely stay here again (preferably without the demands and bustle of a wedding/rehearsal) just to more fully enjoy the relaxing feel of the Pine Nook and the surrounding area. BTW, the property (interior and exterior) itself is WAY better than what is depicted in the VRBO website pictures (or in the exterior view of the front of the house shown on Google Maps).

We came up from MD (3 of us) for a wedding in Warrensburg and decided to make a vacation out of it. Invited some family from Albany to stay with us. A great host and great stay!
My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was close enough to both Bolton Landing and Lake George Village that getting to things was super easy. There was one small mishap, but our host was very responsive. She worked quickly to resolve the issue, and was very helpful in the process.
We truly enjoyed staying here, and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

This property was excellent. Super clean and new. Helen was very prompt in answering any messages. We spent most of our time at the house on the lovely screened in porch. It's in a great location right between Bolton Landing and Lake George Village and not far Warrensburg. Would highly recommend a stay here. No complaints!

Very comfortable house in a quiet but convenient location. Came in winter so couldn’t enjoy the screened porch but the fireplace was very cozy and kept us very warm. Helen was extremely responsive and accommodating. We appreciated her sharing the house with us.
