It was clean,the environment was calm and serene.

The view was incredible, and the amount of space in the house was great. Having both an indoor and outdoor fireplace was fantastic.
It would be helpful for guests to have a heads up that it’s a dirt road leading up to the house.
The stairs leading down to the lounge are slippery.
Maybe on the hiking trail there could be an oppiberg guesthouse sign to show people the way back to the house, with the different paths it’s quite easy to get lost.

Its spacious and a decent mountain house. The views are okay... but in the distance you look into building sites and pelindaba, so its not all natural as some of the pics online would make you expect. The SPA lady was great. The hiking trails are very good. So I would use this as a nice hikers house. Its not a glamorous get-away.
For the pricing it seems a bit rough. The furniture is a mixed bag. The bedroom floors are bare concrete. The Pillows are terrible. The shower has a plastic curtain. The Basin was leaking. The bathroom drainage must have some issues as it smelled quite bad after day 1. The wood provided was wet.
